Spreadsheet updated. In 2014 there are 3 non-visa exempt applicants who have been approved and for them they were in process for about a month on average.

thanks, one thing i would correct is i don't think my wife (PA) is non-visa exempt as she holds indian passport.

For sure, andrew-brit! I'm not sure if I'm the applicant (I'm the Canadian one) or if my British partner is. Anyway, we applied from Edmonton, where we lived together for a year, but when his work visa ran out (we had thought he could stay and work under "implied status," but only found out after we had applied that (a) that doesn't apply for outland visas, and (b) he wouldn't have been eligible anyway because his working visa was a working holiday visa, so we found out abruptly that he had to "cease working immediately" in September, a month after we'd applied for sponsorship), he decided to take advantage of a work visa in New Zealand while I started acupuncture school in Victoria, BC because I couldn't afford to pay for his living expenses while we waited to hear back on a response. If it is relevant at all, he's from Norfolk in England.

Thanks, before I add you can you tell me the principal applicant's location? Closest city is fine if you do not want to be too specific.

Also, andrew-brit, since our timelines are pretty close to identical, I was wondering if you (or anyone else) have any thoughts on what happens if the COPR comes more than a year after medicals were done. We are one of the unlucky ones who had our application sent to London, and since my partner did his medical exam in July 2014 so it could be ready for our August 10th submission, there's a very good chance London may not process our file until after his medicals have "expired." Thoughts?

Also, huge congratulations, Aniabella!

Hey all, today I checked ecas and... DECISION MADE! I'm so excited there's no limit! Ahhh, now i will be like a hawk checking the mails!!!

I haven't received any requests of any kind, so does that mean they extended my medicals?

I am really worried as I have not heard anything back since receiving my AOR
It still says in process on the website but on the spreadsheet I see there have been people who applied even a month after me who has got their approval

Does anybody have a number I can contact to make sure everything is ok?
I am a bit nervous

On the CIC website for the processing time for SA it says they started working on applications received February 4th. You should here back soon, keep an eye for an email and check your spam/junk folder as well.

Hello everyone, only a teeny update from me, my ECAS now says 'Medical Results Received' as well when I click on 'Application Received'.

SIt tight a few more days. As katathfx said, CIC's website says they are working on applications received on 4 Feb. If I had to guess, you are only days away from hearing. Sponsorship doesn't go strictly linearly, you can see from apps last year that there's a month or so of flexibility with approval times. I'd say once "workin gon apps received" gets past 12 Feb then that's when you start chasing them up.

They know how to contact you (since you got AOR) so if there were problems, you'd have heard. Just be patient and sit on it a bit longer.

Updated, thanks!

So today I received an other letter from Immigration Montreal saying that my boyfriends PR visa was issued & to contact so and so officer to organize an appointment! SO HAPPY.

I emailed back to inquire as to what is the next step since all photos were sent & then they responded back to me informing me that their previous letter was sent to me in error... Way to mess with my emotions, CIC! :'(

I'm still perplexed that you have communication from Montreal, it's so weird, but if it looks like things are progressing then don't complain! :) Keep us updated, it sounds like the end is in sight! All updated. :)

A little update from us. We looked into booking my husband's medical in London UK but the Doctor's office will not make an appointment until we've receive an official request for a medical exam. They explained that medicals are either booked before the application is sent or upon formal request.
This seems odd to me but it does appear many wait for the medical request. Hopefully it will not slow the process.

Our application is still only marked as "Application Received" by the Ottawa on Oct 3, 2014. There has been no news since then.
