Hi Taffy
Why is LVO taking forever? Its like we are both in the same boat or have you heard from LVO?

We had a bit of discussion around this on another thread.... I've been waiting longer than both of you >:(

I tried my luck with a case specific enquiry last Friday (no response yet) and I'm also due a set of GCMS notes on Friday. I'll let you know if anything comes of this.

If not, I'll have finally reached the limit of my patience and will contact my MP to try and find out what is going on.

Is the Principal Applicant a Brit, or is the PA from another country?

the address - which one did you send it to? It should be one of the two here, presumably the Robert Speck one if you had it signed:

Also, married or common-law application?

No it was the medical re-do which i sent through DHL at Lambeth UK.
CANADA HOUSE, TRAFALGAR SQUARE. Person received it is Hussian.
Married case.
I am confused my the name in cic?

Your original post said nothing about this which is what confused me. Yes it's fine. If you sent it tracked, someone had to sign for it, and they sign with their actual name.

BTW, I will not respond to your PM - I generally don't give any advice out over PM. I am not always correct, so responding on PM means what I say can't be vetted by other members. In addition, if I respond by PM then no one else can see the answer which means no one else can benefit. It's best to post publicly.

Hello guys.. I applied my FAmily case in 2013 march from London. but now i finished my studies and i am back to my country (India). Now on 11th March 2015 ecase shows "In Process".. They asked for medical re do.. I sent it and then London office asked for Renewed PCC and Updated forms. I have sent them.
1) How much time will it take more? Any rough ideas?
2) And I am in India now.. How will I get COPR?? Will it be London office or India Visa office?

1) No one can say how much time. Hopefully not much longer, those sorts of requests tend to come towards the end of the process.
2) Have you informed CIC of your address change?

My Documents have been signed and recived by person named Hussian.
Can any one tell me is it on right address????

thank you

When we sent addition Info in January to LVO the same person signed, so it's nothing to worry about.

Yes I did it when I was back from London.

London will continue processing your application. Assuming you are an Indian citizen, COPR I believe has to come from NDVO, not LVO. London will let New Delhi know that your COPR is ready to be issued, and you'll send your passport to New Delhi I believe. I am not 100% certain on this but if you have moved back to your own home country and you are a resident in that country then your country's VO has to issue your COPR. I think.

Not according to ECAS. From my last set of notes there was some activity back in August but ECAS still says 'application received'.

Lets see what Friday's notes show.

No way. I factored about 6-8 months as we should be a straightforward case!
