His was with Dr. Margot Nelson-Owen at Spire Hospital. :)

Never thought of going there. When we looked at the panel Dr it just said Camilla Maxwell . She cancelled 3 times and when my step son got there she had just had a computer installed so he had to set it up for her. Lol we wasn't going to wait any longer . Made a note just in case they have to have re medicals.

Huh,

the Dr. He went to was able to get him in within two days of calling. His medical was done on the 19th and it was requested on the 17th. Super fast. It was the one listed on the CIC website, I didn't see any other options for Cardiff I don't think. He did try cities farther north, but couldn't get in there. He said Spire was a bit challenging to get a hold of, he had to leave a message and wait for a call back, but said otherwise it was a fairly quick and pleasant experience. :)

Hopefully you *dont* have to re-do the medicals. :( That would be dreadful!

No not yet .I have no idea when i will receive them as when hubby sent in the consent form he dated it wrong .Have no idea why he thought it was April and not March, hopefully thinking i guess,so they requested a new consent form.So my guess is as good as yours when to expect them. My notes in the pass has always been on time .You have to take into account the time of day you sent them and if it was a weekend. They don't normally email them on a non business day, from what i have experienced .

Should be about 30 days from the time you sent the latest form.

Also, don't inundate them with requests for notes unless you have a reason to actually request them. No point giving them more work than they already have. I'm very much against people ordering notes unless a) they are called for an interview, or b) they are well over one year of processing time.

Sometimes though, ordering notes is a good way to see if the visa office have requested something from you and you haven't received the request. If I hadn't ordered my notes, I would have been sitting here none the wiser to the fact they requested my marriage cert in Jan.

I agree and disagree .Ordering notes every month is pointless.Thank god i did order mine otherwise i would have been sitting here waiting for my hubbies Corp and they requesting divorce papers and birth certificate, which i might add i sent in the original package. Someone also mentioned somewhere that it is a completely different department that the notes come from.

Hey QC people!

Quick question, my credit card was charged by MIDI for the CSQ application on March 16th. Does anyone have any idea when abouts I should be receiving the CSQ - assuming everything is good & it's approved?

Hey guys,

After months of preparation and gathering documents my wife and I are finally ready to send off our PR app. We're going to fedex it to Mississauga on Monday.

One question which might seem tedious. I got my immigration photos done at shoppers the other day and they were stamped but the size of each photos varies by a few mm. Some are dead on 45mm by 35mm but some are a few short, the lady at shoppers was cutting by hand I guess. Do you think that will matter or should I go back and ask for them to be redone?

Cheers

I personally would be going back . Mine also had to be cut by hand but they fitted on the photo specification just right. The photos must have a 35mm x 45mm finished size according to Appendix B

Thanks, yea better to get it right now. So annoying though.

I'll post again when my app has been received!

I know i was worried stiff making sure ours was the right size. Better to start off on the right foot. :)

+1 for making sure they are exact. It may be a faff now, but you'd be kicking yourself WAY harder if in a few weeks they either returned your app or asked you to get new photos done because of the discrepancy... best not to give them any reason to delay! :)
