So is the file transferred to the correct address?

The other question is that I know London Visa Office doesn't issue AOR. So how will I ever find out as to when my file has reached LVO and at what date do I start counting the 11 months for the processing times. Should I order notes or what should I do.

I will be extremely grateful to anyone who can guide me in the right direction and answer these questions at the top. Thanks in advance.

The file will go to the correct address. It will simply be that they haven't updated the form email.

You can send them a request in a month or so and ask or apply for your GCMS notes. The processing time starts when London receives your file.

Hi fellow members. Can you please help me. So I have finally got my sponsor approval.

My question is that in my Sponsor approval it states that my file has been forwarded to the visa office abroad for further processing and lists this address below.

London
High Commission of Canada
Visa Section
2-4 Cockspur Street
Westminster, London
SWIY 5DH, United Kingdom

I though that London Visa Office had moved in December to the new address at Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London.

So is the file transferred to the correct address?

Congrats! I don't see you on the spreadsheet, want to be added? If so, post if you applied as married or common-law, the date your application arrived at CPC-M, the date you received your sponsor approval, and where you're currently located. The link for the spreadsheet is in my signature. :)

Cheers!

Awesome, if you want to be added to the spreasheet then let me know whether you applied Married or CL and where you're located, then either I or Andrew will add you! :)

We are common law and living in London ☺️

Though CIC recommends applying to change your status 30 days before your status expires, you can actually apply up to the day before. Ask for one year. With proof of sufficient finances and proof of the PR app, there is pretty much no chance of being refused.

Awesome thank you so much! Was extremely stressed about switching it over so that has kind of put my mind at ease.

Spreadsheet updated with the correct received date and AOR. Thanks!

Man you are quick! :)

Update: My ECAS went to decision made in late October and I have yet to receive my COPR! My representative says she sent a query to them before Christmas and another one two weeks ago but has received no response! It MUST have been lost in the mail from London.. That's all I can think of. Very frustrating!!

Yeah you definitely need to be getting in touch with them. I believe from a past thread that CIC considers COPR lost if it takes more than 8 weeks to arrive after ECAS has changed to DM... so you should have heard by Christmas, and we're now 6 weeks past that. Definitely worth chasing. If your representative won't chase more, then just get your UCI and File Number and submit the query yourself. You certainly should have heard by now. Good luck!
