Received GCMS notes and sadly nothing has been started on it. Huge sigh.

I would have thought they would have done something with your file

Well, our COPR arrived in the post 10 minutes ago. Nice to have that bad boy in my hands. Shame the Royal Mail can't seem to deliver anything these days without it being bent and turned up at the ears.

Your obviously not tipping your Postman/woman at Christmas....lol

Hmm Just received an email stating that additional information is required for our application:

Schedule A Background Declaration form listing your full personal and address history from the age of 18 to date with no gaps. Please account for your personal history from 09/99- 03/03 on Question 8 & address history from 09/99 - 06/02 on Question 12 of the form. It is not necessary to fully complete a new form. You may provide the information via email.

Thing is, the application form asked for the past 10 years, or since 18... we did past 10 years (I am 31)... but apparently this wont do?!

Also - the email is addressed to someone else (although the subject has my name and F number in it).

Infuriating - am I right in thinking that this will add 2 months to our wait? Also, will they ask for all information at the same time? Ie when I provide this, will that be it, or could we receive a further information request in future?

Cheers

I would be double checking with them that they actually require the info from you and not the other person first. while you wait for a response you could be filling out the form.

Another unwarranted request from London... What the **** are they playing at?

Hey guys,

I just received a email from them saying

"Your application is in progress. We will soon be in contact with further instructions.

Yours sincerely,

Is this good news or just a normal email?

That's better than waiting to go into progress :)

Got that request back in April even though I had filled it out fully back over 10 years until I was 17yrs old. Still...they wanted it done again. We just sent them the same thing as originally posted to them and asked them to read it properly.

Once he works out how to latch my gate so it doesn't bang around in the wind, and annoy all the neighbours, I will consider tipping him.

Thanks, I do hope so ;)

:D My COPR has arrived :D

I want to thank everyone on this forum: even though I haven't been the most active member, reading through other's stories and exasperations along side mine has kept me sane, even though I feel I've had it easy compared to some.

I've been living in Canada (As a tourist) while waiting for the COPR... I wonder if I have to go over the border and back again to activate it?

This feels weird! I think I'll make a cup of tea. I hope everyone elses comes soon!

Congratulations. you have certainly had a bit of a wait. And yes, you need to flagpole.
