YEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

After seeing Sniprat's news I had a bit of a hunch when I checked ecas this morning. I also have Decision Made :-) This is definitely good news for January 2013 applicants that things have really started moving.

I am lucky in that there were not really any potential complications with my application. No children, no previous marriages, no travel outside of the UK for more than 6 months. I should imagine that cuts down quite a bit on the time needed for background checks. My only worry was that they could question our relationship since we met online through a Facebook game and it was for the most part a long-distance relationship.

Provided my COPR arrives in time my husband and I will go to Niagara for me to land on Wednesday next week, which also happens to be my Birthday. I couldn't ask for a better present!

If you want to add me the the spreadsheet, my timeline is:

Meds Done - 11/12/2012
Application received - 23/01/2013
AOR Received - 23/02/2013
File in process - 25/06/2013
Decision Made - 08/07/2013

I hope for good news for all the remaining 2012 applicants soon - I realize it must be horribly frustrating to see people who applied later already coming out the other end of the process. Some are always going to take longer than others, but if only the communication was better so people know what is actually going on with their applications, I think that would be a huge help. Well, from one stress to another - now I need to try to find a job! :-S

$4 each proclaimer :)

Congratulations! It's always great to see a "Decision Made" reported on this forum. :)

Congrats! great to see all these DM's popping up! :)

A question:

Just got my PGWP the other week. Is that something I should tell London that I have got?
That and that I completed my education?

Thanks in advance :)

I had a hunch to check ecas this morn too , and to my utter amazement ........still in process ...sigh

Well done to those who received their DMs today. Gives me a renewed sense of hope that the rest of us won't be waiting forever.
