Good for you :) Have faith. I know it's easy to worry until you have the COPR in your hands.

Thanks Herewecome.

I was excited to tell my hubby but now I feel a little sick. I am a natural born worrier so this is filling up my head. I wish I was like some people who just take it in there stride but I'm not. I'm working on it...lol

That's great news - when are you coming over? Where are you landing?

So excited for you! I think you've made the right call. I really do. I presume you're flying to Halifax or Pearson then on to NB?

I wish you and the little one all the best! :D

Hi Guys,

I was looking for some input on this... I've been through this thread a lot so sorry if this has already been asked. Does anybody have an up to date timeline document on applications through the London office?

It doesn't seem like anyone has been approved so far this year. My application was received on March 1st, my boyfriend was approved as sponsor on March 28th and online the status still just says that my application was received and my medical results received, so I assume they haven't started working on it yet.

I get that its only been 3 months but was just wondering if anyone has any updates on how long it is generally taking?

All feedback appreciated! thanks! :)

Welcome!

If you look for "Sweden" and scottishmaple they have links in their signatures to some files that may have the info you're looking for. As for the average timeline at the moment it's all over the place. A few people from January have been approved already this year, while some from last year (like yours truly) are still waiting.

Also, there's the whole strike fiasco at the moment so further delays are to be expected. I believe 6 months is about the total average but it's a wildly moving target right now!

Exciting! Where are you flying into, Halifax? They have definitely been the most helpful and friendly out of all the customs agents that hubby and I have encountered. :)

The same could be said for everyone in The Maritimes! My favourite spot in the world..

Nice to see some changes on the 2013 spreadsheet.

With the CIC saying mine is close to the top of the pile, Im hoping I may not be to far away (However I am probably over optimistic)

Thank you for the support everyone!

We fly out on the 8th Aug. Enough time to get everything sorted out here. Hope COPR arrives by then but if not we are going anyway. I chose the 8th because 1 it was the cheapest I could find to halifax and alot of my family including my mum go on holiday from the 28th June for 4 weeks and I didnt feel it would be fair to them to leave during that time.

The funny thing is, which I didnt realise until this morning is that the 8th (if I havent gotten a DM/COPR by then) will be 364 days...surely that wont be the case...lol

Sometimes it is good to be optimistic!

Hi there, I dropped the London Visa Office an email through the form on the site regarding a change of address and it seems to have bounced back with subject "Delivery Status Notification Failure" although the computer screen gave the thank you message.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

Yup. Same thing has been happening to others for the past few days. It means one of two things. Either, their mailbox is full or they've shut off Email enquiries. What a bloody nightmare.
