DGT said:Got this email from CIC in reply to my query about whether my COPR has been issued yet.
"Good morning,
Although your application has reached the final stages of processing we have not yet issued your COPR. Your application will be finalised and your COPR will be issued and dispatched shortly.
Kind regards,
CDD"
So, it's now been three weeks since the last time they said my COPR would be issued "shortly". Clearly that word has a different definition with CIC than with the rest of the english speaking world.
scottishmaple said:I think that is a great email, they have stated that you are getting a COPR so a DM must have been made. Congrats. Heres hoping the speed up this final little bit and you get an offical DM on Ecas soon so we can turn your RED
DGT said:It is good, but it's exactly the same thing you told me 3 weeks ago!

Sweden said:I just checked it out (on the internet, I'm not in Toronto...), and it looks great! maybe time for another email to London, telling them that you have been offered a job at that place, and you are asked to start by that date, and can they please let you know if the COPR will be here by then, so you can give an answer to your prospective employer? maybe with facts and a "deadline" for them, it will make them move a little quicker?
