I am so glad someone asked this question! So my ECAS has my current address in Canada (hubby is currently visiting...) i.e my HOME ADDRESS and CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS are the same in Canada - so is this where they will send the COPR ie CURRENT MAIL ADDRESS? - if that is the case - that is SUCH A RELIEF to hear because hubby is here right now we we do not need to ask anyone to mail it to us. Can you just confirm this again?
the COPR will be sent to the mailing address indicated on ecas. Make sure you log in with the applicant details (File number starting by F + applicant information), and check which mailing address is there - if it's not the one in Canada, then send a case-specific enquiry to London to let them know that you would like to change the address (well your husband should do that, but you can always write on his behalf!), and indicate the canadian one.
Good luck!

Wow...do you mean "applied"in July or "file transferred" in July?

If you look at the spreadsheet ( in my signature), you'll see that some april applicants are still waiting, but they have started quite a few people for after april as well...
Good luck!

SWEDEN - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! (SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT YOU JUST MADE MY MIDNIGHT!!!) Okay...uncapping now...
So I went to ECAS just now and did what you said. I did not even realize I could log in with my hubby's file number and his name -I have been using UCI and it only shows my address. Hubby is visiting so he is here right now and we completely forget whose address we used where. NowI logged in using the FXXXX... number and it worked! I have put in a request to change his address to mine in Canada so hopefully the info will be updated and his COPR will be sent here instead of his old address.

This is as close to the high of actually receiving the COPR as I will feel for now - its the little things eh? Thank you much. Any ideas how long it takes for them chihuahuas in the UK to update his records?

Mine looked like "Vancouver, BC, Canada" 8h before it turned to "decision made" - so if CIC updated your home address as "Canada" it means that they consider that you will be living there as a PR - congrats! :-) you're done! :-)

Sweden... you SOOOOOO smart... Just logged onto ECAS and DECISION MADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am the happiest person in the entire world right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ;D :D ;D

I waited most of the time in Canada but decided to come home for the last few weeks which has been nice!! I'm really looking forward to heading back now but I'm quite happy to avoid the snow for another bit :) :)

They have changed my "Home Address" to "C/O Candian Embassy, London" ..... Is that because I don't have a Canadian address? We are still in the UK waiting for the papers and it still says "Application Received" .....

WHAT DOES IT MEAN??! GOOD NEWS OR BAD? ???

Stalking the ECAS hourly!

So much good news! Congrats everyone :)

You're welcome! :-) for me it took 10 days to get an update, so it's fairly quick... and most likely they will have the address on your file before it even shows on ecas, so as long as you've done it, it's all good!

That I have never seem before! :-) I didn't have a Canadian address, but I had indicated that I would settle in Vancouver (and ended up in Victoria instead), so that's what showed up on my ecas as home address - so maybe it's something different. I don't know if it's good news, but it's not bad news for sure - at least they're working on your file!
Good luck with the stalking - can definitely relate! :-)
