I just logged on this morning and a decision has been made! I won't fully believe this until I actually have the paperwork in my hand. Good luck to everyone still waiting, this forum has been very helpful and kept me positive throughout this process.

This is excellent news!!!! Congratulations!
London are moving again! This is great, you are right above me on SS (well you were but it's all been changed around now) ?I hope I hear something this week.

I'm starting to think that what the lawyer meant by "in process" is the definition they give on the website which can just mean that the application is in London because ecas still says "Application Received" - my ecas is working again as of this morning. Hadn't worked for a week and as I suspected it still says the same thing.

Please God let me see DM very very soon!!!

No, no contact of any form whatsoever.

Hopefully I will see the end of this soon. I will sending a message to the VO and enquire - WHAT THE BLOODY HECK IS GOING ON! >:( :'(

I feel for you! I can't imagine what is taking them so long since you are visa exempt.. so frustrating. I definitely think you need to contact them and see whats going on!!
I really hope this ends for you soon.

Hi Made in Canada,

I am sorry I am replying on here, it won't let me reply to your message for some reason, forgive me!

I put a request in for urgent processing in the first place because mid way through our application, they refunded my Daughters application fee for permanent residency and told us to get her citizenship instead. I then did so by applying for a Citizenship Certificate for her and argued the point that as we were planning on going over very soon (we are still in the UK) and I would feel uncomfortable with the prospect of having her status (as she is only 19 months old) as a "visitor" and have myself and my partner citizenship/PR. I went on to say that in the case of a health emergency I would like her to be as protected as possible and to have what she is entitled to as a citizen. They replied the next day via post and said that her application had been forwarded to the Registry in Canada. I was so sure that it would not warrant urgent processing as the "certain circumstances" stated on the guidelines were more urgent and serious, but I tried anyway and it was OK.

I hope this helps. You could always try ... worst case, it will just be put into the normal "run" of applications.

Hello Sfeire, rebecassss, mitchy6, DGT and Antz21

I have written a short message to CIC asking for an update and how long do I have to wait or do they need anything else. Lets see what they come up with and will let you know.

Thanks for your support and concern.

Good luck! Let us know how you get on...

Good luck qtazngal. I sent them a message last night and they replied within 12 hours so hopefully they don't keep you waiting. I think you've done plenty of that already.

someone has deleted all the information on the spreadsheet.

Hopefully the owner has some way to revert to an older version?

I think I can, but I don't really want to touch it just incase.

Another day but the same ecas status. I know I'm so close and at least I'm getting to spend time with my family and friends but I just want this to be over!! It's a constant black cloud looming over me. I want the piece of mind to know that when I head back to Canada it will be with the COPR in hand and I can land and go back to work!
I really am almost out of patience. I thought I would be done by now. :'(

Hello all

We are pretty much going to be paying the fees to send our app off by end of this week. - I just have two questions. In regards to the amount to pay - we have the total price totaled up to be $1,040 - is this correct?

Also, I just want to double check we pay under the Family Class (Spouse or common law partner, parents, grandparents, adopted children and other members of family) category?

Thanks guys and gals!
