Congrats, Sweden!!

Congratulations Sweeden.

For everyone else who is not yet in Canada Check out hukd.com and search for Canadian Affair you will see some offers with promo codes, unfortunately they are expired but more will come soon, they seem to appear every few weeks.

I was lucky enough to be able to use the promo code 'explore Canada', I only had a few minutes to choose my flight and make the decision to book it. I got it all in with taxes for £188 only minutes before the code expired. When I looked at the breakdown I could see that Air transat have given us free flights plus paid 40p towards the taxes for each of us, leaving us only £188 in taxes to pay. I think it also helped to book well in advance, our flight is not until 15 April 13.

(on the right hand side of the screen is more Canadian Affair offers that are still valid that may be of use to some of you)

I hope some of you find this useful.

I regularly just google promo codes for the company or thing I want and usually find a discount somewhere.

Congrats Sweden,

Hopefully the COPR will arrive to you quickly.

I just checked E-Cas. My mailing address has been updated. I emailed London last week to change my address to my address in Canada. I wasn't expecting E-Cas to be updated so fast.

Congratulations Sweden! Thats amazing news! I can't help but be really encouraged by your news seeing as our time line is similar, however ecas is still being stubborn and just saying application received so I shall keep stalking it! Have fun celebrating, Ikea dinner and all! Was at the new Richmond Ikea today and the food didn't smell too bad! lol. Keep us posted and good luck with everything else to follow. (Also if you are landing through Peace arch I would be interested to know how it goes.)

you're probably almost there! :-) my ecas stated application received and nothing else until less than 24h ago, when it suddenly accelerated (much to my surprise, of course!), so hopefully it will be the same for you.
I'll let you know for landing as soon as I have figured out what to do...
Cheers,
Sweden

that's good that it went so fast... you're a week behind me in terms of timeline, so I hope that next week you'll have news (or before, of course!).
I'll be checking here for news! :-)
