Hang in there Herjeet, you are imminent. I hope all these June applications get finalised so they can forge ahead with July. I am hoping to have COPR by end of this month/ mid November at the latest. I want to be in Canada at end of November. I cant even put my property on the market till I get this COPR. So once I get COPR I have to wait to sell up.

I think ECAS does the majority of updates every Tuesday. Not saying that is the only day ECAS is updated but a huge percentage of applications are updated on Tuesday. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!! :D

Hey nmford, you really have been waiting a while! I'm sure once they process your extra documents you'll have your paperwork done in no time! At least your in process!

Herjeet, I don't understand why yours is taking so long!? Your a straight forward case, aren't you? Its making me nervous for ours!

Fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm thinking its not much i should be worried about, but my partner had his medicals done 3 weeks before we sent our application off which was on May 7. We got sponsorship approval on August 8, which ECAS states, but it doesn't mention anything about our medicals being received. I've read a few people saying that this has been shown on theirs. Is this normal that it doesn't say anything on there? I know ECAS is pretty unreliable in the first place but just looking for someone to put my mind at ease!

On a side note, hurry up London! Wanting them to be done with July ASAP! After two failed LMO's and now waiting for this... my partner is dieing to get back to work after a long year and a half almost. I suppose its not too far away now though!

Hope London speeds up for everything this week!

The bit that makes me nervous is I had to write an explanation for a warning on my police certificate (no arrests involved).

Do they usually hold them up for long?

Laurenhannah mine didnt change the whole way through process from Application Received, didnt mention anything about medicals recevied and was ok for me as now a Permanent Resident of Canada!!

Hope this helps and anything else u want to know just ask.

My fiancées' never mentioned medicals either - and he landed 19 months ago - don't worry xxx

Man what's taking soooo long. I've haven't heard anthing since our application left Canada on its way to London. We also changed our address as my wife have been "visiting" from the UK since August 1st, but I talked to a guy from CIC Canada and he said it could take up to 2 months for them to change the address on ECAS (hopeless). I hope that changing our address didn't slow things down for us.

Hi Caddboy,

Have you tried to send an inquiry email to London office. I did get reply from them.

I really have no clue how long it takes them to deal with additional documents or new address information. The time you guys have been waiting certainly seems disproportionate to the amount of additional information you've supplied them with. We are a very straight forward case and are now slipping over the average wait time...90 days today...we will have to have our COPR issued tomorrow if we're to stay in the trend of most apps processed within 12 weeks. I'm not hopeful :(

My case is simple I think! Its crazy, I can't understand why they are so slow??!! For goodness sake, Delhi Office is pumping out COPR's why faster than London and there are way more fraudulent marriages there!! As my Mom is from India, I should have gone there to do my wife's COPR LOL!! Lets hope we all get those COPR's quickly. Maybe this week they might finish June's applicants before diving into another box of Tim Hortons for a extended break!! ;D
