I'm very pleased so many people are getting COPR's! Its very disheartening for me though that they are working on July applicants without completing June's.
I've been in the UK for the past 14.5 yrs and not lived anywhere else other than Canada!! Me sponsoring my wife should be so simple, even my kids are Canadian Citizens now! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Hey Herjeet, have you tried contacting them? Someone on the british expats site was waiting ages too and it ended up being an admin problem with their fee that was holding everything up...

I would try and contact them, just to make sure they have your right E-mail and address. You should definitely be done by now. Hoping the last of June are finished ASAP and then London VO sinks their teeth in to July.

I'm sure they should be done by now! I have got emails from them in the past regarding a query I had so they must have the correct email! Is there a number to ring or should I send them a message on their website?? Thanks! :'(

On holiday in Egypt right now but checked CIC Web site and it says decision made. Woooooo Hooooooo. I hope its the decision we want. Didnt know I could be even more excited than I already was. Going scuba diving the Blue Hole tomorrow too. ;D

Hey there,

as the others say - there is no guarantee that you will be let in at the border... but you can always try! I'm flying on the 10th ( and arriving in Canada on the 15th as I have a little stopover planned! ), and most likely without COPR (as I'm leaving soon and my ecas says "application received"...). So - I'm taking the risk, and I will report how it goes! update coming soon....

I don't have a return ticket... I will bring a print out of my bank account to explain that I do have the funds, the copy of the sponsorship approval, and hope for the best. I'm bringing in 2 suitcases, and travelling with my partner. The rest of our stuff (moving boxes) are going under his name ( as returning canadian indeed) with a shipping company....

I plan to be honest at the border. Saying that I am coming to wait out my PR, but will leave if required, and I have the funds etc.

I'll let you know if I get turned down at the border - and get a "free" flight back to Europe!

Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble getting into ECAS this morning? The boxes for putting in DOB and country have gone really tiny and won't let me type! And when I refresh the site, the boxes remain too small to type. A nightmare, I tells ya! :-\ Seriously though this is driving me insane.

Hey Bryan,

Complete nightmare. I thought my computer was broke at first, then I went and checked May's thread and apparently it is everybody that is having the same issue. I can login to check E-cas just using the Client I.D and leaving D.O.B and place of birth blank BUT the status is all messed up and sponsorship details are blank.

I am so annoyed today, I was really hoping to hear something over this weekend or the next week but I guess until they sort out the issues nobody can get any information.

Same here - was also wondering if it was my computer but no - as it's saturday I don't imagine it will get fixed anytime soon over the week end. Can't log in either... I'll try again on monday - but it's frustrating... as most of the CIC process...

hey all im gonna be out of the country for a little while and I need to know how much time you have to hand in your passport when thry send u the request...
Im hoping they will send a ppr soon but if im out of the country at that time...then what happens?? how many days do i have to come back and hand it in 15, 30, 45??? help :-[
