I did notice that. Very nice sight indeed! I'm also euphoric.

OMG!!!! We have a decision made too!!' OMG I'm in tears. This is the best Easter ever!!

I'm in a state of shock. Further proof of just how random ECAS updates are, my status has today on Easter Sunday been updated to DECISION MADE!

Trying not to get carried away just in case it's not good news, but can't quite believe it! After months and months of waiting for this update its finally happened. I had to do a double take at the screen when it loaded.

For the first time in my life I wish it wasn't a bank holiday tomorrow. The most nervous wait of all now begins!

Hi Everyone,

I am totally new to the forum but have been trailing back around a 100 pages or so to try and find some answers to a couple of questions. My sincere apologies as I'm sure they have been asked several times but alas I am struggling. We think we have a pretty straightforward application, wife Canadian (born in Canada) I'm British been married 5 years and lived and worked here. We have yet to submit our application but I wondered if anyone can help with the following.

1. We have a daughter born a few months ago in the UK. I have found the application for a citizenship certificate but do I even need to do this or will she just go through on my application as a dependant? I'm sure it will cost more money to get her citizenship but if its not exactly necessary right now I'd rather minimize expenses!

2. In terms of the medical on the application it states you can get it done in advance but I see some people wait...is there any difference as the website indicates it may speed up the process if you submit it with the application?

3. In terms of sending original documents, like passports and birth certificates is it better to get certified copies or do they send passports straight back?

Any help would be much appreciated and again I apologise if these have been answered before.

What a small world. I'm in the UK now and grew up on Vancouver Island, but have family in Sherwood Park Alberta
