Hi everyone!
I'm a Canadian Citizen living in the UK with my British husband. We have been living together in the UK since 2001 and been married since Jan 2005.
We've done the medical, police certificate and are nearly ready to post everything off.
However, I had a few questions for those who are living in the UK sponsoring their spouse:
1. As a dual Canadian / British Citizen, did you (sponsor) send a copy of your Canadian passport only or both?
I thought about sending both as they would show proof of relationship and us living together for many years to meet UK immigration standards, but I'm not sure.
2. As we are applying to live in Quebec (in my case, return to Quebec), do we need to complete and send the Quebec forms at the same time as we send everything off to CIC-Mississauga?
Or do I wait till I have been approved as sponsor by CIC, and then have to complete the forms separately to be posted to Montreal?
Once I have been approved as sponsor by CIC, will send our documentation/forms to MICC (Quebec)? and then once approved there, MICC will send our documentation to London for PR?
3. Has anyone got any prior experience they would like to share with regards to an Outland UK to Quebec application?
Many thanks in anticipation for all your help!
