It has been changed on the spreadsheetEabie said:Thank you! I was in a slight state of shock when I saw it. I've logged in several more times just to confirm that my eyes haven't deceived me, lol. It does also list a Home Address now as Winnipeg, Canada, which wasn't there before.
I hope everybody hears back soon, especially you Scottishmaple. I think coming to Canada might help - we sent the email updating our mailing address, and they replied this past Monday to say they had updated their system. It turns out that that was also the day they started processing our application.
For the spreadsheet - it was 217 days from Sponsor Approval to DM, 226 days in total and we went In Process on June 24th.
Thanks everybody for your help and support! This forum has been a godsend.

Hi there!kmsalguero said:hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some information. I am 24 year old Born Canadian, My Fiance Lives in England. I am looking sponsor her to come live with me in Canada. My dilemma is we are not sure if we are suppose to get married first and then apply for sponsorship or can apply to be her sponsor and when she is allowed to stay in Canada we will get married. I have heard all stories and i am still puzzled. Any information can help.
Thank you,
"Welcome" to the thread, and good luck for the final stretch! it seems like you'll be done soon enough, if it's in process then somebody is indeed looking at your file, and next thing you know - you will see your "home address" appear on ecas, as Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and DM! hopefully soon!Rabukoo said:Hi everybody,
I haven't posted on this forum before, but I have been a quiet 'lurker' for many months. To be honest, every time I had a question I wanted to ask, I found it answered somewhere already. The people on this forum really are incredibly helpful and I'm not sure how I would have coped without all the information available on here!
Anyway, with the strikes going on I wanted reassure people that there must be something going on in London... Today I discovered that my application is now 'in process' as of June 25th I submitted my application towards the end of January this year. I am a British Citizen and have been married to my Canadian Husband since September 2012. I have been staying with him in Toronto as a (extended) visitor ever since.
Hoping the 'process' doesn't take too long - life can be pretty boring with not being able to work. Not that I mind free time, but with only one income activities are significantly restricted. Anyway, I'm at least excited by the glimmer of hope I received today. I'll update if and when I get to 'Decision Made'...
