Just be completely honest with them at customs. Explain that you have an application for PR pending in London (they'll most likely see that anyway when they check your background out), and that you're intending to wait out the rest of your time in Canada. I'd recommend getting a return ticket so that you can ensure them that you have the means to leave should you need to do so, and/or a bank statement with proof of funds.OShea said:Thank you for your reply
I was not sure if I could or not. Phew! Can breathe a bit now... Just seemed pointless for us to get a new contract with a new house in August and them be leaving once I get COPR. Would I tell them at customs that I am waiting out for my COPR or just pretend im visiting for a few months? haha sorry for the questions but those immigration officers can be a tad intimidating!
They may or may not ask you for this stuff, but it's best to be up-front, prepared and honest.
