We got a request for some updated information back in mid April so we were sure they were looking at our file. Only went into process on May 30th. May looks like it turned out to be a funny month. A lot of people who went in process in April are still waiting for the finishing line. More often it's no more than a week or two to "decision made" according to "the spreadsheet" but it's slowed right down in May

Congrats, welcome to Canada! and welcome to Vancouver Island, you arrived the perfect week - it was rainy and grey last week but now it's supposed to be full sunshine the whole week - and the current 18degrees bodes well!

Wait your on the island too!? I think I've mentioned before, but I've been on the island almost three years now..sure does feel like coming home. Glad the sun finally made an appearance today, my husband and I live on a sailboat and we had our first dock party at the marina we live at, turns out it was a 'Welcome to Canada' party for me! Canadians are so freakin' nice!

Yep! Victoria based since November 2012.. Sailboat sounds nice, and today was great for a dock party! And Canadians are nice - can't complain, followed mine all the way to here!

So the start of a new week and supposidly no strike....I did check Ecas today *sigh* as usual, no change.

I have now started to miss out the middle man on occassion and have been stalking my postman instead....I dare dream.

Hubby moved into his/possibly our new place on Saturday, so thats something I guess.

I told myself just wait until school finishes and make some decisions but as I told my mum this she laughed with a sound of sympathy and said 'your always saying just 4 more weeks', which is very true. Perhaps I am just kidding myself....

I hope a lot of 2012 applicants get some news this week!

OK, it's official.. The London VO is taking the ****.

They have just asked me for my personal history from age 18 for question 8 in IMM5669. However, the form clearly states from age 18 OR the past 10 years, whichever is the most recent. I gave them over 30 years worth, which was a single job, while living at a single address, and they STILL want all the way back to age 18!!

I get the impression that this is a delaying tactic. What do others think?

Unfortunately, you aren't the only one this has happened to. Quite a few people have ran into this, and as you say the question is pretty clear. Think of it positively though. They've opened your file!

A few people on here and other forums have also been asked for it, im not sure why. I only did the last 10 years and havent been asked for it, then again I am still waiting so they might. Not sure if it is a delaying tactic but I think if the VO wants all the way to 18 then the form should be changed.
