Hi all,

My common law partner and I filed our application on June 28 and the file was transferred to London today. Here's hoping things move quickly in London for all of us!

I have to say, I'm looking forward to taking a short break from obsessively checking my email and this forum (which is what I was doing while waiting for sponsorship approval!) But once London has had a few weeks to process my file, obsessive email checking and forum surfing will resume!

Good luck everyone!

Given up with this silly office. Nobody is moving, time to get these May and June applicants all finished up and then start with the July and August applicants.

Thing is EVERY VO seems to be god awfully slow at the minute. 5 COPR's in the last 5 weeks!!!

Hang in there liuminparis, fingers crossed for you :D
Hi R151NG5UN, thank you for encouragement. I definitely need a lot of encouragement at the moment.

What is blocking VO London process? It is not the Olympics or other stuff. Actually I sincerely believe that I am the person who block the VO London as I have lived in four countries in the past 10 years so I had to get 3 police certificates in my application (except cert. for Canada). Perhaps once my case goes through, VO London will greatly speed up the process for all other people on the spreadsheet. :p

Seems to be good news indeed - and it doesn't seem like an automated answer, so your file is probably under review...
as for Ecas - a lot of applicants from London went from Application received to "decision made" without in progress etc, so don't worry about it... you might just get the COPR right away without any further information... fingers crossed! :)
Good luck,
Sweden
Thanks Sweden, you are so sweet! I will continue to wait with as much patience as I could manage. Good luck to you as well!

I suppose with summer, everyone want to take holidays and spend time with the kids. I'm sure this is the main reason for London's lack of urgency, Its been a hard few months as we will be leaving middle of November and my notice to leave my current employer is submitted so we have no choice but to go!! June applicants are well on the way so I've taken a few deep breaths, calmed myself down and staying positive. I am sure all June applicants should be done by mid October. Good luck to everyone and lets stay positive!! 8)

I wonder if holiday allowances were put off while the olympics played. Meaning they've all gone away now
Just a thought! ::)

Lol I am pretty sure the Olympics in all retrospect had no bearing on the speed (or should I say slowness) of these approvals. London VO seems to have hit a brick wall. Every day I pop on to this forum hoping some of you guys would have your COPR's. At this rate they wont touch July until the new year. London VO needs some of the coffee or the cigarettes that the VO in New Delhi are using. Those guys spit out COPR's at phenomenal speed. :D

I'm with you on that one - had to submit 7 certificates for the last 10 years, it will keep them busy for sure ! :)
Wish London would speed up a bit - looking at New Delhi would be good for them!
Oh well - good luck to us all!

Well London outdone themselves this week, 1 DM lol. Another super slow week in London. Perhaps they were reminiscing about the Olympics lol :D. Seriously what is with these people who have been in process for between 4 and 8 weeks. Surely after 8 weeks the poor guy deserves to have an answer. Being in process for 8 weeks would kill me.

Lets hope next week is a little more fruitful.

How many people work in this VO? 1? bet he is part-time too :p
