My wife included a signed covering letter stating that she hadn't lived in Canada since 2006 and therefore hadn't filed a tax return since then, and then included her most recent P60, plus a letter from her UK employer stating that she'd been employed there on a full-time permanent basis since 2006. That seemed to work for the sponsor approval at least.....

A question has come to mind since skimming through these posts - I will be applying to sponsor my hubby - I have been living in the UK (Canadian citizen) for 4 years now and working in FT employment since I arrived. Will the CIC need to see any of my tax papers from Canada previous to 2007? Or would it suffice to send them my P60s from UK?
Thanks
