what does CSQ stand for?
Congratulations hibou!!hibou said:I posted in the March thread as well, but just in case anyone wants to know... I got my request for my passport today!!
I am lucky, it was a pretty straight forward timeline, with the CSQ causing extra processing time.
Yep, all you need to land is your passport with the whole page visa thing inside and the COPR.sandwish said:Hi Folks! Long time lurker, and hope to offer some of our experiences to help out in a few weeks: right now up to our necks in preparations!
Need to check something ASAP, as about to commit to non refundable flights tomorrow......
So, just now panicking that we got everything in the envelope when we picked up my husband's passport. The letter included said TWO documents, so I'm hoping that means your passport and COPR. To be anal, though, when one picks up their passport (and presumably when it is posted too ) the envelope should contain the following:
1) Your passport (with the "immigrant" visa as like a sticker on a whole passport page
2) A letter telling you what to do, and also saying there are TWO documents included
3) The COPR form with your photo on one page, and two additional pages, separated by carbon- it says it's a 3 part from so.....
There is nothing else. right?
Basically all we need for going through Immigration is the passport with the visa, and the COPR 3 part from thing? (And we have our marriage certificate and my husband's birth certificate and ALL of the documents we sent copies of with our application, although I doubt they'll want to see those! ;-))
I know Shandimoo indicated that was all in a helpful previous post (and she mentioned the two lines- if you get there after 2pm they seem to make you join the one line for drop offs and pick ups, so get there early for speediest results!).
Thanks in advance for any confirmation you have

Did you receive your CSQ by snail mail or email?
I know how you feel. MICC received my extra forms & fee 2 weeks ago and I'm now waiting to be approved. Meanwhile, our application is sat in London waiting for a copy of the CSQ to proceed. E-Cas says "medical results received" so I'm presuming they only need the CSQ to issue PPR.
London don't send out confirmations of receipt. You will have to check on ecas and it will usually update saying 'we received the application to sponsor xxx on xxx - the date...etc 'mittens said:so what am i waiting for now? confirmation from london that they received my application?
i'm all confuddled again
Congratulations - finally.Jen85 said:After 8 months and 6 days we have finally reached Decision Made on Ecas. Just awaiting the letter or email. Been a soul destroying process but we are finally getting towards the end. Pink lady could you add in your spreadsheet that we went into process Feb 24. Good luck to everyone still waiting.
