Sponsorship Approval: 30-07-2015 (letter dated 06-08-15)
Upfront Med's Done: 10-02-2015. Request for med's from CIC 06-08-2015.
Resent via the case management system portal (this was sent with the original application).
PR Application Status: In progress 06-08-2015 via London Visa Office
The online services portal it just says “We received X X application for permanent residence on June 2, 2015”

I am so hoping it doesn't take the advertised 28 months for the LVO to process my PR application.

Is anyone else on the same timeline, are we receiving SA at similar times. Have you had any further movement or correspondence from CIC.

Yes .No restrictions for Canadian Citizen .You don't have to inform CPC or anyone .

sorry for the caps Im just so happy...feels like its been forever even though it has been pretty fast to process considering other peoples process times
just going to happily wait for passport request now and DM and off to the border we will go

Just received this from LVO:

In order to have a re-assessment of your medical, we will require the following:
1. Has the health status of this applicant changed since the last immigration medical exam?
2. Has the client been in close contact with someone with active pulmonary tuberculosis since the last exam?
3. CHEST X-RAY (film/ CD and report) – (for applicants 11 years old and above only)
Immigration Office.

has anyone received the same email? Is this basically a re-medical?

I replied to medical extension email on Aug 7 as you did. However, I didn't receive such email yet.
I think u better wait for response from someone with such exp/info

Re-medical request today, trying to get this done before we go to Canada on Wednesday - we got sick of waiting. Otherwise will be having new medical in Toronto!

My wife will come to montreal in a few months to wait for her PR. Question is:- Can she update her address to my address in Montreal? If so how do we do this? In case of re-medical, can she do it in Montreal too?

Added! The spreadsheet gives stats on processing times which are more realistic for Brits as the 28th months quoted takes Pakistan applications into account.

Address question is answered in the FAQ.
Medical can be done anywhere, as long as it's by a DMP. CIC has a list on their website.
