Haha I can't wait to turn you green!andrew-brit said:Yeah I love making people green on the spreadsheet, when my turn comes I want Loly to update my line!
This worries me a little. We applied common law. Got married and I informed them. However we have no cert yet.IntoAnother said:I landed on Saturday, The US and Canadian boarders staff were super nice.
Drove to Buffalo Friday night and returned Saturday.
I posted about the not updating we were married now.
From further research as there was no marriage certificate issued yet we had nothing to prove we
were married and Ontario doesn't recognize a marriage until the marriage certificate is issued.
No questions were asked at the boarder about this, only about dependents and criminal convictions.
A note for updating the spreadsheet we we're processed through Ottawa rather than Mississauga as I had through at the beginning
that's great news. Congrats.GISGeek said:Just checked the ECAS, status changed to "In Process"
Thanks Warzo, good luck to everyone!warzo said:that's great news. Congrats.
Andrew is right after you.

My apologies if this has already been asked but I'm a bit confused by the wording of the email we received. I'm hoping someone has had the same request and can let me know what they did.
It asks us to submit the documents to London (even thought the email came from Ottawa). There is then a section specifying that the passport photocopies can be submitted to Ottawa if we are in Canada for more then 3 months (which we are). I've copied the wording below.
Am I right in thinking that they want the passport copies to ottawa but the info chart and photos to London? It just seems odd that they would want them at different offices... I'm thinking for good measure we might just submit a complete package to both!
EMAIL:
A) To submit your package to London via courier or mail directly
In your package, include a self-addressed envelope that is A4 size or larger (21cm x 30cm or 8.5” x 12”). Do not put stamps on your return envelope. Do not use a courier envelope as your return envelope. If your return address is in the UK, you may use a Royal Mail Special Delivery envelope that is large enough (keep a copy of the tracking number). For packages signed for on receipt at the High Commission, you may be able to track receipt via the website of the courier company.
If you have not heard from us after four weeks, you may contact us using the email form on our website. We will not respond to queries received during this four week period.
B) Submitting photocopies of your passport(s) in Canada (CPC-O):
If you and all the accompanying dependents on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit photocopies of your passport(s) to the Case Processing Centre – Ottawa (“CPC-O”). You are required to send the passport photocopies together along with a copy of this correspondence by mail or courier to the following address ...
Many congratulations!!! Must be an amazing feeling, good luck with the landing ;Dkatathfx said:We just got the COPR delivered !!! After 15 months of waiting and worry it doesn't seem real. I keep looking in the envelope thinking it should have confetti and streamers popping out to mark its arrival lol
We will land on the 26th at Calais because we have to be in Fredericton that weekend. Will post our experience afterwards.
Thank goodness for this forum and all the gracious members who share their knowledge and experiences. We would have been lost and most likely had our application sent back because of the mistakes we made in the beginning. To those from 2014 still waiting, I can't wait to see your line go green on the spreadsheet. Good luck and best wishes everyone... Come on London !!!!
