Good morning everyone! Today I came to work wanting to wish everyone a happy day even though I knew I may not have the news I wanted. But I did not have time to do it right away because of work, etc. I finally had the time to check our e-mails and we had 2 e-mails from BUF time stamped at 8:31 am today.....It's PPR!!!! My knees shook and was about to scream for happiness but held it because I was and still am at work! Anyway, I just wanted to share that with all of you. Hopefully, everyone gets the same e-mail/letter before the long weekend. I am pretty sure the Canadian Immigration Office will be close on Monday for Thanksgiving.

I think it is so weird how some people get emails - I have emailed them, my husband has emailed them, we included an email for correspondence in the application, and they have only contacted us via snail mail.

I went to the website and BUF office is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for VISA issuance?

Yes - if you want to visit Buffalo in person for visa issuance - you can only do this on Tuesday or Thursday. Make sure you're there by 7:30am at the latest (my husband arrived at 7am). It takes a few hours.

We havent received anything yet... only the change in ecas. We are hoping that the "decision made" is a good one. All the official correspondence has been snail mail.
