waiting waiting waiting. its sooo frustrating! i just want my visitor extension, so i can make doctors appointments etc...it would suck to cancel bunch of appointments if i get denied.
but hey atleast you guys are in process, right? ;D
have a great weekend btw!

Well, Tokyo recevied my application on Nov 28 and till now there is no update..... e-cas still shows application received thats it.... i am feeling very down today. Should i call them and ask about my application??? ... :'( :'(

Aahh I'm so nervous! I'm waiting and waiting to hear from CIC about what the decision is about my PR..!!
I sent my Passport and it arrived there in the beginning of last week.

Now it states on the website:

We received the application for permanent residence on December 2, 2010.
We started processingthe application on December 20, 2010.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on the application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

So they say that it is complete, but they leave you in suspence about what the decision is..! *butterflies in my stomach and contacting my parents back home every day to ask "is there mail yet??!!"*

If they ask for your passport, isnt that to issue the one entry visa into your passport, so you can land?
It has to be good news!!

Becka the decision was made when you received the request for your passport. Berlin only asks for the passport when ready to issue the visa. They ask for it in order to attach your visa. The update is ecas is just behind! Now you just have to wait to get it back.

Omg..!!!
I am so happy!!!! Thanks Pinklady and Kelkel!

-the only reason I was hesitant to jumping around happy when I read it is because it's SO fast..!
Berlin usually takes 12-14 months, and for me it has only been 5.
Oh wow I feel so lucky and blessed!

-Why cant they just be a little more clear and say in the letter "congratulations, you've been approved, send us your passport so we can attach your visa"
But oh well, I dont care any more, I am so happy!
:) :) :)

Thank you :)

And congrats Filipina. It went fast for you then, you are already landed I take it?
I'm still waiting on their letter with my passport back.

@ Dimitri: I think (that is my oppinion, I'm no expert) that Nov. 24 is the date you should start counting from. I think that is probably a lot of the time of that 8 months processing time (says 12-14 months for my CPC) -the time that your case is just sitting around waiting in a drawer.

Le sigh... Starting to get worried. They've had our requested document for 2 months.
