My husbands passport arrived today. He will be landing for sure on the 24th. I hope the next week will just fly by and the weather will cooperate for next weeks driving!!!!

Holy Hell! I just got home from work to find my visa on the doormat!
Its funny how quickly a bad day in the office can turn into a fantastic day.

My husband received an email from the embassy in Mexico City February 4 attaching the AOR letter. Received a separate email from them the same day asking for a photocopy of valid passport within 15 days. It was included in original application so not sure why this is being requested - sent it in today. Instructions to obtain police certificates are apparently coming by mail. It is a relief to finally see some movement on our file. Anyone else have updates? Best of luck everyone.

mrandmrsromero, I'm glad to see you posting in your month's thread. I had just posted in mine (December) about how some people were on trackitt.com but not on here.
Yes, it is great to see some movement. We also received the emails telling us that stuff is coming in the mail and to send other documents too.
Now if only some November Mexico City people would sign up, we could track every month before us.

I am so glad you received your visa!!! I am on my way to send my passport to the UK from Canada and I ask them to send it back to Canada to me.
Where did u send ur passport from and where did you ask them to send it back to u?

I sent it from my address in London to the London office and they just sent it back. Probably should have just taken it into the office myself as that would have been a bit quicker, but I have it now though so I don't care.
Looks from the envelope like the London office sent it back recorded/signed-for delivery by the Royal Mail, however I was at work and so didn't sign for it. Bit dodgy. Maybe a neighbour signed for it though.
Hope yours comes back quick.

Great. I am just gonna send it from Canada and ask them to send it back to Canada to me as I am here visiting my partner fro some monhts. So if they sent your passport back as a registered delivery they are gonna be sure to send it bakc to Canada in whatever but safe way.

Mine has been in Process in London since February 03 2010 and I haven't heard anything... seems strange that some receive PPR within a couple of days of going into process... I'm starting to think there is something wrong with my application.

I'm guessing those went into process before the date ecas has given. All applicants have to have background/security checks that would take longer than 3 days. Hold tight a little longer I'm sure everything is good!!!

Congrats to those who got PPR!!! That's great!

Nothing here, still. Not even visitor extensions yet :O should be here any day now though.
The freaking ecas is driving me nuts! My record to log in is probably somewhere between 40-50 times!!!!Yes! This is insane. And yes i have the tracker as well...
Anyway, we'll get there, eventually!
