filibina what do u mean?

I believe he/she is saying:

"Someone here already got a "Decision Made" update on their e-CAS on November 1. Their app had been received by CPC-M on October 1, therefore it only took 30 days to process. One could infer from this that the rest of us October people should be getting decision made updates soon as well."

:) It's no problem, filipina. That makes sense too, since lee_rock's app was received on October 1 and the CIC website says they are currently working on apps received up to October 1: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp.

Hopefully it will update by next week to say October 7 or something similar, which would mean even more decision made updates for people :). Good luck to us all.

Thanks everyone! JMA you wouldn't request your CAPIS notes until you have concerns as to why your application is taking longer than the posted processing times OR if you're called for an interview and would like more info about what the concerns are. Or you could request them to simply find out what notes they are making on your file.

:o I didnt remember to sign any pics
i knew i forgot something :-X :'(

what happens if and when they send the application back? are they gonna still transfer the file first to london, uk and then send the
pics back to me or what, if anyone knows?

I would love to know the answer to this as I don't remember my husband putting his Birthdate on the back of any of his pictures but we filled out so many forms that i don't remember what i did or didn't do for most of it now. We are going ot wait till we get sponsorship approval and then send 8 more as addtional info just to cover ourselves. Will i get a file number with approval? or will that be something i can see through ecas from what i am reading london office can be a bit funny on how file number and that works will we have to call to find out?

advice is much appreciated.

according to part 3 information guide specific by your geographical region Europe which you can found into this website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3902e.pdf check Document checklist page 5. no.12

Note: On the back of each photograph, write the name and date of birth of the person who
appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken.

i've read someone posted here that he didnt put his name, birthdate and the date taken on 1 of each picture, his package was returned to him because of that, but i hope will not happen to you guys. if they approved you guys so nothing to worry at all but in the local visa office in europe might ask you to provide.

Hey. Filipina, I looked at your link and this country guide is for Eastern Europe. My husband is applying from the UK, so this is Western Europe. The guide is found at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3901e.pdf Check page 3, section 13.

It just says you need 8 photos and to follow the instructions on the immigration guide (found at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3999E.pdf)

Found on page 16:
"On the back of one photo (and only one) in each set, write the name and date of birth of the person appearing in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken."

What we need information on is when we should send the new photos in. Should this be as soon as we get the case number? Also, when should we get the case number?

Hi spacey, I'm also applying from UK and wrote on the back of one of the photos. I would suggest that once your application is transferred to London you should send in your new pics with these details on the back. If you get a AOR early, I believe they include barcodes with your case number on it for you to send with any additional information/documents. Although from the previous month's threads, not all the AOR's come through quickly, so you might be best to send it in with the information you have instead of waiting once it is transferred to London.

Do we have to wait until we get the AOR or will we get a file number when we have access to ECAS?

I think initially your access to ECAS will only relate to the sponsorship part, and therefore you will need to log in with the sponsor's details and not the applicants details, and I'm not sure if the file number will be the same. Might be worth a call/email to the CIC.

Thanks Mandi,
It is amazing how crazy you can drive yourself over what you did and didn't do. We just want to be on the safe side and resend the pictures in case we did forget. Would rather head up the problem then wait and have things delayed.
Hoping someone on here might have been through this before. I imagine its the same process as sending additional info. Not too worried just want to be prepared for when we can send it :)
