I have a question about PPR. Will CIC send the PPR to sponsor or applicant? We live in a different country now. thanks!

It will be requested of the Applicant

Spacey, motul2000 and other London applicants, can you give us an idea of how long the PPR process takes to get the passport back? Have a trip planned for 7 March and would be nice to "land" but may have to wait till next time if it takes too long.

Congrats congrats!!!

kelkel i hope so!! i want it to be next wednesday! hahha. Hopefully you hear something from buffalo soon!! Is you bf here as twp or visitor?

Hey, i was wondering if anyone can help me with this...
I applied visitor extension, incase i get denied, how fast i have to leave to country? like immediately? and if i get denied, can i apply restoration of status? my visitor visa expired december 1st and what i checked from cic.gc.ca they are processing application they received end of september. mine was received mid october.

Thanks and thumbs up!!! Hopefully there is lots and lots of ppr in next week!

Millu he's here on visitor status his work permit ran out last year. I agree I'm wanting it to be this week but not expecting anything. I would like to add your extension won't get denied so I can't help you with the last question :)

I received PPR e-mail on 27th Jan, sent out my passport on 29th Jan, arrived visa office on 31st Jan. Still waiting my passport return......

The attached letter in my PPR e-mail said failure to communicate with us within 45 days from the date of this letter will result in your application
being refused and the file being closed. You can send your passport by mail or in person. If submit your passport in person, service in only available
on Thursday 2:00~3:00 p.m. You may collect your passport 10 working days(Thursday 2:00~3:00 p.m).

In the unlikely event that if you have not heard from them after send your passport after 30 working days(6 weeks), you may contact them by e-mail.

So if you receive your PPR letter within this week, you may choose to submit your passport in person and collect it 10 working days after rather
than send by mail. Now I don't know when will they return my passport. I got trip on 17th Feb......luckily I have dual nationality. I can use my other passport.

Hope this can help you!!!!

congrats filipina.

I too received my PPR letter today.

Hey October,

Best of luck to all of you this week, especially those of you from Buffalo.

May tomorrow's weekly eCas update bring you many 'Decision Made's It's about that time.

Sincerely,

November

Yeah, the lack of PPR from October Buffalo applicants is very discouraging. That means us November Buffalo people won't be hearing anything anytime soon. As soon as you all get your PPR, then they'll start working on ours (in theory).

This makes me mad. So If Ocotber People don't get PPR this month, we have to wait another month? Very upsetting. :( Please fast processing! I'm really hoping October people will get PPR'S soon.
