My consultant recieved the approval letter late Friday dated Nov 4th.

My letter was stamped on 10th by Post, but still got it today.

Just came back after mailing my app. fedex-it

Congratulations all of you that got your sponsorship approval letter!
We're still awaiting ours.. I am in Canada now on a visitors visa to be with my boyfriend (desperatly trying to figure out if there are any employers offering LMO's around here..)

So question; the sponsorship approval letter gets send to the address of the sponsor right

Becka it will go to the sponsors address Where are you from in Germany? My boyfriend (who's here now as a visitor) is from outside of Hanover.

Ah, thank you! Are you guys in the same situation as us?
I'm actually from The Netherlands (North) but ours go through the CPC in Germany aswell

I don't mean to barge into the conversation, but I lived in Germany when I was a child, for about six years.

I lived in Kaiserslautern and Hanau. I believe they're divided by the Rhine, with Frankfurt in the middle.

Do any of those places ring a bell? I know one is in Hessen, and one is in Rhineland Phaltz.

Damn you Pharoh for barging in lol. No worries. Im not that familiar with Germany as I've only visited 2 times before and kind of visited the main cities, Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover.

Hey Becka pretty much in the same position. My boyfriend had been here on 2 seperate work permits and now is just a visitor I've never seen someone get so obsessed with golf. When he's not plalying he's watching it on TV. No idea whats he going to do when it snows.

Pharoh and Becka not sure of your ages but have thought about a work/holiday or young professionals permit? Depending on your country (Becka you'd be good) you can get a permit no LMO needed to work for one year.

Ah ok Yes haha I know how it can get for him : P Ive only been here for a week now and Im already trying to figure out if I could maybe like find an employer that offers an LMO so that I can work...
Thank you for the suggestion. I have also used my 2 work permits up already tough --Working Holiday Program and Young Workers Exchange Program.
I have been here in 2007 for 6 months on an internship (when I met my boyfriend) and 2008/2009 for a year to live with my boyfriend and meanwhile do another internship and my graduating project (of the Dutch University I went to) in AB Canada.
Looking back, it would have been smart to start the immigration process then, but ohwell back then I didnt know that this Canadian guy of mine and I would actually stick together for this long and survive all this being apart

My boyfriends field of work would be very difficult to get an LMO for that's why he won't even attempt it.

hello!

you were talking about getting twp while waiting pr...i assume you are applying outland? how that works? if you get the lmo and job offer, you flagpole the border? is there anyway that IO will give you hard time cause the pr is in process and specially cause its outland.
can you apply work permit thru your visa office(outland kind of) and just make it mail to canadian address?

this would be huge if it could work

my visitor visa extension is send same time as pr application...should i wait for that before even plan to apply work?

btw, i just realize that 2/5 years (keeping your pr status..)rule doesnt count if your spouse is canadian and you travel with him/her. My hubby travels alot cause of work and there is chance his job will take us somewhere else temporary....it made my day

CPC received our application on 15 Oct but no news yet. I'm so frustrated.
