Not feeling remarkably patient at the moment. Immigration phoned us last Weds...said letter was coming with instructions of what to do next for the fingerprinting....okay....so where is the b****y letter????? We are stuck waiting for that and not being able to move forward at all. If the letter does not come in today's post then my partner is going to try and ring the number the lady called from. It is a London number but I wouldn't be surprised if that number doesn't accept incoming phone calls. But we will try. Meanwhile time ticks by and I doubt we will be getting PPR by our 6 month mark!

Ah Jen, did that letter come yet (it's evening here so not sure what time it is there?) gosh I really hope so. It's frustrating isn't it, when every day counts and this was not something you could possibly have foreseen.

No letter yet. Tried to call the number that the lady called from and they wouldn't give any answers. Just said they couldn't help and we will have to send an email. Yeah right and emails take about 2 weeks to be responded to! Our post doesn't normally get here until about 2pm and it is almost 11am now so still hope it might be here today.

I'm landing probably the 27th or 28th of this month, depending on how long the drive takes. It's about 30 hours from where I live. My wife (sponsor) is flying down and we're driving up together. I'm going to pick up my passport from Buffalo as soon as I get the letter in the mail (probably no email at this point, I've never had any email communication with them), my last day at work is the 25th. I just put in my two weeks notice. I feel sick!!! :-\

I'm starting to worry. In 6 days it will mark 3 months since they have received our application but with no news. Anyone else or is it just me ? Still don't have the in process... :s

Scratch that two weeks bit. I just sent them an email to find out where our letter is and they will respond within 28 days. Oh very kind of them...they are so helpful.....NOT! They were rather rude on the phone when my partner called and said "where did you get this number?" Well you phoned us on it and we are trying to follow up from that phone call! Absolutely no way would she help. Getting very angry now.
