Hi May people,

Not sure if I updated this tread or not, but my husband got his passport request and (according to the DHL website) it will arrive back in our apartment on Wednesday. Since his medicals expire on March 19th, he will be landing in just 10 days, on March 17th!!

We are super excited and relieved. Thanks to everyone on this forum for their support and help.

Here is our timeline updated (and projected into next week):

Medicals done: March 19, 2010
Application sent: May 7, 2010
Sponsor approval: June 14, 2010
Transferred to Lima: June 21, 2010
AOR: June 29, 2010
Passport request (email): February 14, 2011
Passport sent: February 15, 2011
Visa received: March 9, 2011 (estimated)
Landing: March 17, 2011 (planned)

We were much faster than the 1 year estimate on the Lima website, so that was great news.

Happy to announce that my baby girl finally arrrived on March 18th Her name is Lamya. Still hard to believe that all this immigration stuff got done before she was born, since we we cutting it so close with the interview. Ironically I recieved my PR card the night I went to the hospital so now everything is complete Baby and PR. I wish everyone the best of luck.
