So my processing time was a week and a half shy of five months I cannot wait to tell the hubs!

Great News Vervain, Were you the only one being sponsored or do you have existing childern? Yeh and great news if OHIP kicks in before your due date. My wife and I are also hoping for a child this year.

I just wish we would see some progress on our application...

it would be upto a year i called the CSIS... idk who to believe the girl didnt sound too bright no offense

Nope, my app was for myself and my 9 year old son from a previous relationship. Also an interesting note our timing on getting things in order wasn't the best (as he had to budget out every step) so our FBI and State clearances were all 6-9 months old when we submitted and we were never asked for any updated ones.

Hey everyone,
I had the baby...Friday, September 10, 2010...a beautiful baby girl...7 Ibs 13 ounces...we named her Nefertari...

No updates from Port of Spain...so, I mailed them (they have a separate sheet of paper to fill out when they send you your imm client #... they say to mail it back to them if 3 months have passed and you haven't heard from them).

My husband's stay will expire the end of October...we applied for an extension...I want everything to workout so he can stay until next June!!!!

Hope everyone else is well!!

That is an unusual name... At least it is in the Western world.... is it more common where you are from? What does it mean?

It's not a common name in QUEBEC...It was the name of an Egyptian Queen...it means most beautiful...and thanks for the blessings!!

We haven't heard anything about the extension yet!!...
