@sieb - Very sad to hear. Hope things work out for you at the earliest! Remember, what goes around comes around! I don't think anyone can get away with any wrong doing in this world. Just stay positive and keep the faith! Good Luck.

I havn't seen my wife - sponsor & Canadian Citizen, for 8 months now. We were rejected this yr. in Jan and applied again in May! We were married a little over 11 months when she had to leave in Jan. cz our VO was not convinced that she would go back to CA if my PR app. got approved!

@missmyhoney - Thx much for updating the list. Appreciate it!

Sorry for everything you are going through Sieb, but maybe she was not the one for you in the end, yes the most terrible way to find out but at least you did not waste any more of your life on a relationship that may be even more heart breaking in the end.

I wish everyone in our month would add their case to Track-It;

http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/family-class

I check Track it each day and count the approvals for our month, 11 out of 38 applications now 29% avg time 3.1 Months. it went from 7 or 8 to 11 in the past week - week and a half.

it's not another forum to follow just add your case and update it with a date as needed, however it's nice to see the progress in our month being made.

Our plan was to do an inland application. I quit my job, house and moved to Canada. I however made a mistake by shipping some householdgoods. Since that was considered jumping the gun I was given a removalorder. that was hard on the relationship. My wife visited me twice since I was returned a few months ago and things seemed to go OK. The (now outland) process including the ARC went faster then expected. But the waiting and not knowing the exact timeframe was too hard on my wife.
This website helps people to better understand what they are up against. It is hard to be apart from the one you love and going through the process. Maintaining a LD relationship is tough.
I hope all you guys out there find what you are looking for, together with your lovedones.

I am sorry to hear that your relationship went wrong due to your shipping goods! However doesn't excuse the way your wife reacted to your removal order!! Perhaps it was a relationship you were not really meant to be in! :( I am a strong believer in everything happens for a reason! I hope you get yourself together and able to move on soon...

almost 2 months since i got my freakin AOr and no news since >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( hate this immigration process with a pssion ???

Hello, everyone. I haven't posted on this thread, but I figured I'd share news since I know I appreciate whenever someone posts updates.

I'm American and mailed my application on May 5th 2010, and just this morning I received my passport request via E-Mail.

My application was processed outland via Buffalo, and wasn't forwarded like others have been.
I also mailed Buffalo my FBI Clearance separately than my application.

Just wanted to let others know that perhaps some news is on the way for other Buffalo folks!

Yay Jello! Hopefully the next thing that Sugar and Heather will get will be PPR :D And soon! :D

did they request ur fbi via mail?

Should I or Should I not?

Hi,
I am at serious Emergency.
Need your frank comments please.
I am in the process of applying for F1 (Student) Visa for USA. Now, I have to submit a questionnaire. The last question in that questionnaire is- Did you apply for immigration or citizenship to any other country? If yes, then which country and what is the status of your application.

Please, I know it is awkward, but given the fact that my being a potential immigrant to Canada, the US consulate may reject me from Student VISA there. So, should I disclose that I have applied for Canadian Immigration in the Student Visa form for US?

I have only 24 hours to decide. I am sincerely looking for your pragmatic suggestion (no matter how awkward it is!).

Thank you sincerely, everyone~~ <3

SaugaBoss - When I received notice that my application was transferred to Buffalo, I sent my FBI Clearance to Buffalo before they even had a chance to request it. Later down the road, I received notice that Buffalo started processing my application so I E-Mailed them, and they confirmed they had found my FBI and put it with my application. However, after they confirmed that they had it, they ended up sending me a letter requesting it anyway, but I was able to re-confirm that it was a mistake.

I dont think it will help you in the long run to conceal the fact that you have applied for PR in Canada..the USA will find out and may revoke your student Visa

It shouldn't take more than a couple business days for them to confirm whether or not they found it.

The first time I asked for confirmation, it took maybe 2 days for a reply, and it was really specific E-Mail stating that it was found and added to my file. The E-Mail was only one sentence long and had no signature. It was kind of weird for a government response, but felt like a personal message, if that makes sense.

The second time, and after they sent a letter requesting my FBI anyway (and I assumed it was gone with the wind at that point!), it took maybe 2 or 4 days, and was an automated response telling me that my application was in processing and that they'd contact me if they needed anything else.

Hope this is helpful!

yea but they dont reply to confirm they get info thats the response i get lol >:( but i have a confirmation thing that they signed for it so i know itwont b lost :) just NO ONE EVER CONTACTS ME FROM BUFFALO! which sux
