*******************IMPORTANT QUESTION****************

by now, most of us have recieved our approvals for 1st stage or almost there....now, my question is....

The second stage (at my local visa office)...do they evaluate me? our relationship....what do they look for??

Please n thnx!

Yeah, the second part is where they evaluate your information and the evidence of your relationship.

how does the processing work? is your application assigned an agent? are they responsible for your file and updates? -- do they work on one file until its done? or do they do a few files at once?

Yes Rachel Actually once Mississauga transfer file in local office so after receive file they keep it few days in cold room or u can say Ur file waiting to get IO. after that IO send you u a letter and will say that they start work on Ur file and if they require any document he will ask to you .....

and as u said u both already have PR so i am sure Ur newly child will be get easily coz they not gonna ask for child relationship proof ha ha
and in child case if ever they have doubt they simply ask for DNA test which one easy and will be come possitive ...
so no worries i hope soon u will be hear and can start Ur life with husband and kids :)
all the best

Missmyhoney: Mine also says not available..I am guessing that I am only a few days behind you?

@britincanada
might be some time before we get to see in process, in a few days--hopefully? :)

i will be posting the new list as soon as the page turns 35.

Missmyhoney: I thought it took about a month to show 'in process'? I don't know if my Dh has been approved to sponsor me yet..but hoping my application is on its way to the UK as I type! :)

@ britincanada, i am positive that you are approved. i guess we can't do much but wait and imagine that we all get through this organized emotional chaos with positive results as soon as possible

Does anyone know ,AOR is sent to sponsor only?

Hello one and all :D

Is it me or is it completly impossible to contact anyone who can tell you anything to do with an application for PR?!

Submitted PR visa application for hubby and children on the 6th may it was recieved by Missisauga 14th May, E-cas says 'decision made' on the 18th June and that there is apparently a letter on its way to inform me of thier decision but its the 5th of July already and NOTHING!

can anyone give me a bit of a clue?... or just a reasuring word would be nice ? ::)

Cheers

mail problems...ours was not fast ...letter sent 16th of june, letter received 25th of june

Hello

I am reposting from the April thread. Please Help

We applied outland on April 2 got approved in Mississauga on May 18 and received a letter of approval and transfer to Buffalo on May 26.
We had our package returned with letter on June 4 saying there was no proof of legal status in US and to resubmit with the evidence.

My partner had sent his opt card and his f1 i20 that was still valid but this time we send every thing including copies of his passport pages showing valid visa and mailed the whole package back to Buffalo on June 6.

There is no reply back from them. we had emailed Buffalo about the status and they asked us to contact them after 30 weeks. We don't know what they are doing with it or even if it has been received. We forgot to add delivery confirmation. Does anyone know how to find out if the package has been received ?

Normally aor should go to sponsor in canada, my wife received it, i didnt, unless in your case sponsor is canadian citizen and is not required to be in canada. It varies from country to country from what i have read on this forums. I forgot to mention that our 16 june to 25th june letter travelled inside canada, so it probably takes longer to get to england
