OK, I think I'm going to ask for a status update for my file. Would someone who has had luck getting a response mind posting their form letter, and the email address of where to send it?

Our status was moved to In Progress as of August 11th, but we didn't get an E-Cas update until Monday. Congratulations to everyone who has received their PPRs

Yes...I will send you a form that I use everytime, but I don't have it with me, been on the road, grandfather passed away yesterday morning so I had to get a kid from camp...let me tell ya....1600 Kms in 2 days is nuts with 3 kids....

I will post the info...also if JustandDaph is around this weekend she has the same form I used...I was very successful with the form I used...also I think I stole the outline from Jayde.....so either or have it as well...

I went to the buffalo site and sent a case specific inquiry to the email address they have listed there. Sorry I can't check that email from work, but will try to find it when i get home

Some MUCH NEEDED movement today! I've been struggling a lot with being unemployed lately. I've been careerless for over a year now, and I only had a seasonal job for two months over the holidays this past year. Monetarily, it's been fine being a single income family; emotionally, I've been struggling with self worth and the need for employment and the ability to provide.

So I had a panic attack tonight and couldn't stop crying, and finally we calmed down a bit (I'm on a visitor visa in Vancouver right now, thank goodness. We were doing separate households for a while but it got to be too much to handle). Mrs. Wolfe #1 checked the CIC app status and it has changed to IN PROCESS!! Medicals received! I never even received notification via the tracker. It made me feel at least a little better knowing we're nominally closer to PPR.

its like 4 month i have sent ma pasport...bt no visa nd info yet..
please tell me dat 6 month procesing time means wat?? 4rm wch date i should count my procesing??

Oh happy happy joy joy!!! I was woken up this morning at 4:45am by u email notification on my phone from e-cas tracker! They have received our Medical! I am a touch confused by the two processing dates but whatevs, we are getting some movement!!!

Hope everyone gets some news soon

The E-CAS tracker, is a third party tracking system that will send you a notification for any changes made to your application by Visa Office.
