Yaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy finally....we are in process and have a file number!!! We are still showing as application received, but we can log into Ecas with our file number too....

That's awesome sauce!!! I keep checking ecas everyday hoping for a change from "application received" especially when it says its been received in January when I sent it out in March! I don't know whether I should notify them of this error.

I was waiting for my CSQ as I am am applying to live in Quebec. I received it last week and today I got an email from London asking me to pay the RPRF before they can proceed with the application.

Is this good news, do any of you know?? I mean, would they ask for RPRF and then refuse the visa application?

My E-CAS file doesn't say anything about medicals received or anything...

I was in the same situation...about 2 weeks after I received my CSQ, I received a request from the VO to pay the RPRF. I had actually paid the week before, but they said sometimes payments don`t make it into their system from Mississauga for 3-4 weeks.

My e-cas says it`s in process, but there`s nothing about medicals.

I wonder if they don`t even request them until they receive the CSQ. It could be most things are on hold until that CSQ is in their hands.

I hope it was good news for both of us! Good luck on your journey!

Thanks for the replies! I guess there is no answer set in stone and we just have to wait... The CSQ part is an added delay as well, I guess...

Hey Team March,

Just got an email today from my lawyers, forwarding correspondence received from Buffalo:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are now in a position to request your passports for visa issuance.

Off to get photos taken for PR and then to mail my passport!!!!!!!!! Looks like Buffalo is in motion again, and my journey will (hopefully) be done soon.... hope everybody else gets good news soon too!

So far, that's two Marchers I'm aware of that have received PPR. Fizzlefunk's app was received just before mine and Janamay's, so I hope we're really close!
