@ Hope to Land....
That was remarkably fast! Congratulations!! ;D It'll be nice of you to stick around a while, like a few others do.....

Just an update on my journey......

I received an initial assessment via e-mail today saying my interview was waived and all I needed to send in was my RPRF! Great, right? But I was a bit concerned because we recently paid the RPRF and now they were asking for the very same thing. I wrote them back and they answered within a couple of hours.

FYI, they said that when you pay the RPRF on-line or send it to Mississauga, it takes about 3-4 weeks before it may get into the VO's system. At least they confirmed that I had paid and I'm so glad they took the time to do so. I would not have been able to sleep tonight if they hadn't done so.

So Hooray! I actually have a file number and everything!

@boomerang,

thanks, i can´t believe it myself. seemed like march was a lucky month for me :)

congratulation on your news.

i´ll stay on this forum, i´m addicted ;D

hi guys,

im new to this thread. im a sponsor for my husband and we sent out our application on march 15th.

up until now i was approved as a sponsor on may 6th

on may 17th my e-case changed to application received and medicals exams received.

on june 2nd it changed to "in process" "we have started to process ur app on june 2nd"

in going through the Tel Aviv office by the way.

I haven't received any AOR or anything like that, but i did email them 2 days ago about addind an email for my husband on the app and they replied to me today saying that they updated his account.

and now im still waiting...i have my fingers crossed, because i really miss my husband...i had to leave him 3 days after our wedding so that REALLY sucks...i think waiting is the hardest thing ever...since i have all my patience for this immigration process i have found that i am not able to wait with anything else..lol its really hard and since i just recently realized there are forums its really helped me a lot.

sorry to rite soo much :)

Any word from Buffalo with their week off anyone??? I even sent case specific inquiry and nothing....

LOL every time I see there is a new comment in this thread or the Buffalo thread, I get my hopes up that someone heard something... at this point, I just want ANYONE to get a ppr...

Jayde...didn't you hear that your file was in process??? All Ecas says for mine is that its been received on May 6th.....

I did get my e-cas status changed to "In Process" today. They state that they began processing my application on June 7th. That makes sense because I received my initial assessment stating my interview was waived, on June 8th.

If they didn't ask for missing documents, are requests for medicals next? I hope so!

OMG! I didn't think e-Cas would ever CHANGE!

We started processing **** ****** ****** application on June 7, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

AND OMG we just checked my husband's EMAIL!

Dear Applicant:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We are now in a position to request your passports for visa issuance.

Please submit your passport(s) before 08-AUGUST-2011 . The issuance of your visa(s) is time sensitive so it is important for you to submit your passport(s) as requested

Hey, no we haven't heard that it's in process, just that it arrived on May 13. We've been trying to get in touch with them because my husband moved out of his place last night and is starting his drive up here in about 6 hours and we don't have a file number in order to send his change of address & change of e-mail address. So still waiting here too.

Hopefully we'll all hear soon.

@mossee

congratulations

isn´t it a fantastic feeling!!!

have a nice day
