Congrats Janamay!

Stumpedmom can you update the spreadsheet for us too? You can see my timeline in my sig.. hubby landed Nov 4 :)

Thanks!

oh btw, has your husband received his pr card yet? we're wondering how long that's gonna take

Yep, he got it within about the 40 days.

well i just received a letter for an interview request and the waiting time for a date is 4-6 months. So i guess i'll still be around longer. :(

Hi wefeia,

will he be able to travel to tel aviv?? will they allow him to cross for the interview? What is the 4-6 months, the interview will be within 4-6 months?

Well my husband just recently had his ID chaged to dafa. He said that he could probably get a tasreeh (permission) to go to the interview. He just has to wait for the official letter with the date and time. Cause they'll only give him the permission with that letter.

I'm probably going to go there too. Im going to finish Dec and Jan here and go wait out the rest of the time in palestine with him, cause i miss him like crazy and i don't want to waste anymore time away from him.

yea they said 4-6 months till we get the interview. They said theyll give us the date 2 months in advance so we'll see when that's going to be.

That's crazy, why would they do that! 4-6 months is alot of time..

Hopefully at the end it will work out, and as long as you guys together you won't even feel the time passing :)

Good luck wefeia

Hello March applicants!

This is my first time posting in your thread. Honestly I didn't even know it existed until today. :P

Just looking to give and receive a little emotional support with you all as we now hit the 9 month mark since we applied. It's nice to talk to other people who have been waiting the same amount of time as me.

Here's my story:

>Applied March 1st, 2011
>Application was officially received March 31st 2011
>Got a letter in July asking for my medical exam and RPRF (I followed the wrong instructions for medicals and was waiting for them to be requested)
>Hubs and I missed the note in the letter saying we needed to submit the RPRF by a certain date (which was in September)
>When we realized this in October, I panicked, and we paid it on October 19th. I mailed the receipts to Mississauga and Buffalo (my VO) the next day.
>We contacted my hubs' local MP in late October because we were concerned my application had been voided (what was threatened in the letter if we didn't pay the RPRF by the deadline), but the MP's assistant said my application is still on file and awaiting background checks.
>We ordered GCMS notes in late October and are still waiting to receive them.
>At this point, we're sitting on our hands until we can get more info from the GCMS notes, and hoping once the RPRF receipts are processed (I was told 6 to 8 weeks for this, putting us at late December) that I'll get my COPR.
>I'm going to stay with my hubs long-term after Christmas, to be with him while we wait for my PR to be completed.

Yay hubby has landed! Was in/out of immigration in under 10 minutes. I got my Xmas present early and my dream has finally come true!!! Sooo happy!!

Good luck to the rest of you either waiting or just applying. The process can take a lot out of you, but is so rewarding in the end...if you manage to keep your sanity!!

All the very best to you all and thanks for the information and words of encouragement. Merry Christmas!

Donna

Just wondering how many other March applicants there are out there who still haven't heard, especially anyone else who applied through Buffalo? Fingers crossed this is our month!

Got my PPR today via email from Buffalo! :D

Good luck to anyone else out there still waiting. I hope this week is your week as well!

Congrats, that's great news, I'm very happy for you and it gives me hope ! I want to be the next !

Yes, the important dates should be in my profile info, but briefly: applied Feb. 28, 2011, sponsorship approved March 25, 2011, file transferred to Buffalo March 31, 2011, went to "in process" on July 13, 2011, PPR Dec. 5, 2011. I never received a proper PPR (got it when I sent an email to Buffalo in October), and I currently forget the date I got my CSQ, but I think it was something like April 14, 2011. :)

You're still waiting as well? :( Do you know why, or just stuck in limbo like I was?

I don't know why, absolutely no news from Buffalo and my MP doesn't want to help us saying it's too early.
We have a very similar timeline so I hope the PPR will be here in the next couple weeks.
