Hi March 2010 applicants!
this topic seems to be frozen. Where are March 2010 applicants?
I think now is the time for March applications. I look at the inland processing time. They are working on March apps.
Does anybody have any signs from them?

I havent gone anywhere, just on hold as my wife's application is processing through CHC-ISB and the time-line says 16months from when application is received in CHC-ISB. With that we could be looking till approx October 2011 for her to have a visa issued, I hope its not the case. Right now just waiting for 9 months to elapes since she received AOR to inquire about the status of her application as well as we are gathering additional proofs of our ongoing relationship to send voluntarily.

We are both happy cause we know in due time we will be together, but are also frustrated as people all around her in Pakistan who are sponsored into other countries are issued visas already after applying well after she did, with CHC-ISB unable match.

O well, just waiting our turn :)

I just wanted to report back for those of you who are still waiting... there is hope. I have just landed on April 8th 2011. Hang in there, and keep faith.

Hello everyone...
I'm not Egyptian.. infact.. I'm Canadian.
I'm looking for advise from anyone who has gone through the process of sponsoring an Egyptian husband before. The husband or wife... just. Help me .. and share your experience if possible.

Currently I'm scared.
My husband is in Egypt ... experiencing everything bad over there and there's no proof of it happening to him. I have no money. I will make just enough money to sponsor him and pay for a visa... and send the documents. I need a lawyer. We are thinking of getting a visitor visa and sponsorship application sent in at once.
It's been too long away from eachother.

Please share your stories with me.. has anyone... done this... with little money before? I have.. next to nothing in my bank account =( I'm not loosing my husband because of money.
Let me know.... what you did... and if it works.. before I spend all of what I have just ot bring my love to Canada.

Thank you

I received this letter today and I was waiting for feedback on the family sponsorship visa

''A refund in the amount of $75.00 has been initiated. If you paid by credit card, it will be credited back to your
credit card account. Otherwise, a cheque will be mailed to you at the address indicated above in approximately
six to eight weeks'' can anyone enlighten me, please?
