Hi everyone!!!

GREAT NEWS! I just got a phone call from an IO at the Los Angeles Consulate. She called to confirm my husband's email address as she is sending him the passport request today! We are so excited! I'm shaking! I can't believe it!!! We are so relieved. Finally DONE with this ordeal. Now we just need to decide if we will go to Buffalo to pick the visa up or Fedex his passport to Los Angeles. We are nervous Fedexing his passport from Canada.

Yeah, it was odd that they called first to check the email address. Probably just an LA thing. Interestingly we never got anything saying that the interview was waived or that the medicals were received. This phone call is the first thing since the email my husband received on August 4th about his file being transferred to the LA office so we were surprised. It took LA just under a month to process. Not too bad!
Hang in there! I'm sure yours is just around the corner.

my e-cas is updated and it show that "medical result have been received ",

i need to know how long i will wait to get my visa after this step?

from what i have seen in the various posts in forums, usually when they update the e-cas with medical result received, the PPr follows shortly.... however not all cases get this update of medicals before the PPR...... so i think you should get the PPR shortly now.....

I got my passport request today via email! I'm going to drive to buffalo probably this week and finish it up. It was exactly 200 days from arrival to PPR I hope everyone else in feb/march gets theirs soon!

i received mail on 8/9/2010 from embassy say that they need me to send my passport and i sent it on 9/9 but till now no news i want to know how long it will take to get back my passport ????

any1 from egypt can help me plzzzz

...I received my PPR via E-mail this morning!

Now, it's off to Buffalo soon to get that stamp!

How re u today? had my interview today. The interviewer said my case is pretty straight forward. no issue with it. He approved it right away. the interview was about 10 mins or so. he just asked some basic questions. he said i should get a PPR next month. he will be sending my application back to London, my interview was held in Stockholm Sweden.

Have you heard anything yet, concerning ur husband´s case?
I pray we all get PPR as soon as possible.

I am relief now!!!!!!!!!!!
