Nope i haven't received anything from my local embassy, mine was transferred on 29th March. I think they send letter once they start processing, so my guess is our app are already at the embassy, they just haven't started processing. Lets keep posting updates on this thread.

Hi folks,

I decided to join this thread and contribute because this forum has been of tremendous help to my wife and I. I submitted my application to Mississauga on Mar 2nd, and my timeline follows fairly closely to that of calgary_flames.

And like many of the other posters, I am still waiting for an update from New Delhi.

There is no change in my file since they sent it to the visa office in Damascus, Syria. My file was transferred on 29 March.

Hi guys, I'm a November applicant, sponsored my Irish husband outland.
Just wanted to say Hi and give you some encouragement as I know how difficult and worrying the waiting process can be. Our November group still has a few people waiting on their passports back, but other than that most of our cases are complete.

update...
Today my status change to IN PROCESS in local visa office ( Damascus, Syria).

Permanent Residence Application status:
"We started processing ......'s application on April 6, 2010"


Hope they have good news for me.

Cant wait for danify and kolibri to get updates! Its funny, because I think, this has to be the worst part, waiting for the first acknowledgement. But, Im' sure soon as this part is done, I will think the next part is the worst part! hehe

Hi all,
I still have not been able to log into eCAS. My application was received on March 10 (according to FedEx tracking). Should I be worried? I have tried logging in with my receipt number and both my sponsor's and my information. What would you do if you were me? Just be patient or try to contact CIC?
