thats eems weird that they would tell you on the email that it has now been transfered to the VO tending to your application and then take 30 days to do it, doesnt make sense to me. Plus if you ook at the spreadsheets, it shows on there that they recieved peoples applications at the london office within days of them getting sponsor approval.
I dont believe what they say anyway, i phoned up 2 days after I had sponsor approval and they said it hadnt been approved yet, then hubby calls and they say it has and an email was sent 2 days before. >:(

I think they work from a script like most call centres, but its not always updated with the correct info.

And I'm not looking at ecas, it seems like it's REALLY unreliable. Best just to sit and wait for that AOR email from London - that's the way you'll know they've got it.

Hey, you don't actually get an AOR email from London, just an update on ecas saying "we received your application to sponsor xxx on xxx"
And its best not to rely on the call centre agents. Even ecas can be very unreliable. Some CIC agents don't seem to bother to update it.

The email does not mention 30 days... so call to find out how long it will take to transfer??? and he said 90 days :S :S :S plus before he told me i was not approved then when i told him i received an email he went to check again and say yes you are.... i think doesnt worth to call them :S

they are the stupidest guys on this earth and getting paid for nothing !!!!!

when called (29th september) the agent said they started processing the application on 26th september and it was still in process and it might take 30 days to complete the processing. but the approval letter says it was issued on 26th september. it means the agents are there to make us confused.

they just want us to stay away from calling them !!!! and that is what their duties are I believe ... :'(

Aha! Thanks for that PinkLady, I would've been waiting FOREVER!! I'm right in thinking that they email when they want your passport though, right?

I tried to log in to ecas a few days ago, but it didn't recognise the ID that was sent with our approval letter. I should try again.
