Where does it say they got a visa. All I see is that they have been requested for a Passport. That does not necessarily mean they were approved.

Doesn't look like anyone is hearing anything yet, which makes me feel better! Lets just hope they are just having a slow start to the week and will start getting them out there now!

They applied June 7 through the Sydney office.

Something I noticed happening a lot is that people are not getting notified immediately about their progress, which I think is adding to the anxiety and frustration, and even confusion.

Many applicants from previous months did only become aware that they were approved when they received written communication in the mail (post) as opposed to email. If you notice, a few of the June applicants found out they were approved only after they called and spoke to a call centre agent. Seems like also the CIC is actually respecting their deadlines and timeframes, it's the notification aspect that is causing people to think that approvals are slow.

I wonder if in my case I'll get notified by email or normal post. I made sure to include my email and that of my husband's to make sure they have ways to get in touch with us by means other than snail mail. But I'm yet to see what method they will use

Andre, none from this forum at least! But a couple of our fellow Julians are due anytime soon. I wonder if JenB is around I would ask her to call to find out ;D
