DONE!!!!!!! Husband recieved Passport request email yesterday and went to the embassy today and got all his stamps and papers! 3.5 months and Im still in shock that we are done Fingers crossed for everyone else still waiting.....

Wow - amazing news to everyone - so many updates! I should go away more often!

Still no PPR request from our end although the Tel Aviv VO was closed for quite a while with both Easter and Passover. (And I am sure we are going to be a while anyway with the background checks - 4 years of Military service)

However, in other happy news - my partner proposed while we were on our vacation! (we applied as common law)!

We haven't planned a date yet - still enjoying the new status! We're thinking summer 2012 - as I am sure many of you will know from experience lots of logistics involved when the family and friends are in 2 seperate places.

Hi All,

I was browsing through other threads where they were mentioning the "Right for Permanent Residency fee".

Upon application, we only paid our Sponsor and Application fees, but were advised to hold off on the Right for Permanent Residency fee. According to people in the December feed, not paying this Right for Permanent Residency fee can result in 2 months delay.

Have you folks paid this yet? Any thoughts? Since we've submitted our application, would we need to wait now? Or could we pay and send in now?

We paid ours before sending in the application. The info says it can delay your processing by up to 2 months if it isn't paid ahead of time. I think if I was you I'd pay it now and then send a copy of your receipt into the visa office.

you need to send the receipt to CPC-M not to your VO.

CPC-M will process it ....usually within 20-25 days and will send confirmation to you as well as your visa office.
your visa office can not process RPRF directly.

I also paid this fees later and I had to send it to CPC-M for further processing.

Congratulations to all that have received their PPR and that have landed!!! ...

We are still waiting for our PPR email or letter :'( ..I wish I'd never seen the ECAS update now ...everyday is a living hell :'(
