Wow travelling for a full 5 weeks - I can't think of a better way to take your mind off the application process and make the time fly by!

Hopefully by the time you get back you will be onto stage 2! Have an amazing trip and I will try and get a table thingy going to track everyone's process

Good luck with posting your application, hope the post office went well!

It was such a relief to mail it (until I start panicking about all the little things I may have forogtten) - after 3 very stressful days regarding our meds and some photos, I have finally found a mini Zen of 'it's out of our hands, nothing we can do about it, if we forgot something they will just send it back' - although this is accompanied by a obsessive need to check the Dec thread's table, and the CPC site (i still don't have access to ecas)

I know exactly how you feel, we mailed ours yesterday afternoon, such a feeling of relief, load off our shoulders after it was sent! Although I spent most of the evening on these forums trying to see how long everyone else's applications were taking through Paris lolll. I think I'll be obsessively checking all these threads too ;D

Just posted our application this afternoon ...I keep worrying that Ive forgotten something ...I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes alright. This is going to be the most agonizing time of our lives ...but its such a relief just to have it sent off ...6 months putting this together seemed never ending ...Good luck to everyone ...we all seem to be playing the waiting game now ...

I mailed off our application on January 14th, and it got to them on January 17th. Now the waiting begins...Good Luck to all :)

Ohhhh we posted ours yesterday and I really hope it gets there before the weekend!!!

I'm so glad we're going travelling for 5 weeks otherwise I'd be checking emails/post every single day to see what's happening!

Good luck all. x

After a few days of unexpected obstacles we finally mailed ours this afternoon. "Relieved" doesn't begin to cover it :) I feel like somebody suddenly handed me my life back... even though there's not really much I can do, at least I'll stop looking at forms :D

Best of luck to everyone!

Now you'll start looking at these forums instead ;) ;D We sent ours on Monday via Expresspost (guaranteed delivery in 2 days) and its STILL not there!!
Aaarrrrggghh, it probably would have gone faster by snailmail. :'(

Jan 21/11 - was received at Mississauga yesterday morning - YAY.

Doesn't seem to be too many January applicants :o Maybe this is a good thing, not so many applications for them to work through loll

Kaycee - I would agree with that! I keep looking at Decembers thread for timelines - there are only about 5 or 6 of us here in Jan. It will be interesting to see if it has any effect on the processing time!

So it seems as though the December thread is almost done ( i was as snooping around on the time lines) ;) - the CIC site says they are now working on application received Dec 22 - it shouldn't be long before we start seeing some action here in Jan!

Although I think most of us are in the middle of Jan so there may be another quite week or 2. It least I feel as though there is some progess (even if i'm not directly effected).

Hi guys

I mailed my application on Jan 12 , and it was received on Jan 13.

I thought I posted in here already but I can't see anything... anyway I posted mine on January 17th express and it was delivered January 18th. Hope to hear something around the end of february!

Eagerly waiting when CIC will start processing January 2011 applications.
All the best everybody. And hope we shall be lucky and CIC will respond faster to our applications. :)

Hey all,
Just mailed our application from Michigan today... going crazy thinking about all the things that could go wrong! Look forward to hearing some updates...

Hey I was on the December thread last night, and someone said their sponsorship was approved on December 29th. I think they had said they called CIC- Mississauga. If that is true then the website processing times are about 6-7 days behind. If that is the case they be starting on January applications this week. Let's only hope right? but just thought i would come on here and let all of us January applicants know that..Good Luck
