We're still waiting as well, any day now right.....................? ;D

Quick question, with goods to follow, where we fill in value in CAD, this is the second hand cost, ie., cost currently worth not cost to buy in Canada?

Maybe both of you are caught up in the so called system update that a senior immigration official told our mp office we were caught up in. Might be worth asking your local mp to look into it for you. It's worth a try :-)

I'm going to order the CAIPs notes so i can take them with me to my MPs office, though...right now they're prolly out in Ottawa for Jack Layton's Funeral :(

Hey there, haven't gotten to read through this thread yet, but I thought I would add my name.
CIC Vegreville received my application on 20 December 2010 and began processing on 7 February 2011.
I'm looking forward to reading through and seeing where everybody else is at!
Just to clarify, my husband is Canadian and sponsoring me, I'm American, and we're doing an Inland application (hence Vegreville).

Has anyone doing an Inland gotten any word from CIC yet?

Hi Everyone!

I am wondering how many people from the December group are still waiting? Anyone going through Buffalo? Anyone moving from the States to Canada? My husband and I have heard nothing. E-Cas states they started processing my app. May 9th, but that is it. No mail or email contact. I am so frustrated.
Congrats to all those who are moving through...it gives me some sort of hope.

We are going through Buffalo and have not heard anything since the AOR back in March that they received our Application on January 26th. The one time they responded to our emails, they said that our application was in process, whatever that might mean.

Same here... You and I have similar timelines, as far as the transfer to Buffalo and AOR. I haven't emailed them at all yet, kinda been putting it off in hopes something will surface. I think I'll crack and send the inquiry in the next few days though!

My wife passport was returned today from buffalo with the COPR and visa in the passport.. good luck to the rest of you December folks going through Buffalo who are still waiting

Great news :-)

Thanks Inl.. you have been a source of strength and understanding for us during this process. What I have learnt from this process is that they are highs and lows some days of excitement and other days of frustration but one must never loose sight of the fact that we are dealing with professionals who are doing the best that they can with the resources and tools that they do have.

All along we were hoping to be completed by the fall because my wife is hoping to begin her Doctorial programme in Education shortly and Uof Toronto and Harvard are two of the acceptance that she has, and the determination was going to be made dependent on what happened with this process.

Amaranth, I know we have misunderstood each other at times but I praying that you are completed soon.

Good luck. We have not got any useful info by emailing Buffalo, but maybe you will have better luck.

It has been 8 months since i mailed my app to mississauga, and 6 months 22 days since the app was forwarded to singapore VO.
Nothing has changed since then .. waiting patiently as i grow old !!

I know I dont have to have them but I want them before I take the next step, and having them while seeing my MP may help, especially if not much is going on in my file.

Hang on in there everyone, your time will come, it's very frustrating waiting for incoming news...we have fingers and toes crossed for you all for info soon!!

Congrats Spiritrac! There is hope yet, for the rest of us.

Any day now...

I wonder how they will contact us??? Maybe a letter in the mail?
