Well not giving up but very deflated, our RPRF was confirmed to have been sent via email to London on June 2nd, just wish it would come through now for both of our piece of mind. We just want to move forward now and enjoy life without the stress of uncertainty.
I just don't get it...I understand that some cases are more difficult than others and require more time to process, but it can't be that all the remaining Dec/Jan cases are like that...I don't think our case is terribly difficult. We are in our late 20s, have been dating for 8 years, married for 1, no children, hubby (the applicant) did not live anywhere other than the US and Canada, no criminal record, never served in the army or belonged to any political organizations nor did any of his family members...We just want to leave this process behind us and move on with our lives...

Same here Kayan...same here. I think the majority of our frustration is the lack of not knowing. Like what the heck is going on over there? Then there is always the worry that we'll finally hear something months later and we'll be missing something or need an interview and have it take even longer! Bah!

Its bieng 5 months now the file has been transfered and no good NEWS are coming out from CHC-ISB. I have not seen even a single case getting processed during this period. All I hear is that sponsorship cases are taking more then a year after AOR. Its a new born sponsorship case so I hope it to be fast...

Jeff, I'd take any news at this point, good or bad (as long as it is not a rejection of our application), so that I know that they are at least working on the application, and so that I have a better idea of the timeline. When we submitted the application, we thought it would take 4-5 months tops. Now, we're not even trying to guess the date for completion since it seems completely random. I won't be surprised if I start seeing April and May applications go through before ours 
We are living apart throughout this process, he is in Seattle and I moved from Vancouver to Toronto right after we've submitted our application, thinking he would join me there soon. How naive...I think if we were together throughout all this, it would be much more bearable.

We find it very unsettling too, submitted in Dec., not only has Jan been PPR, but also Feb and March and April...whats the hold up????? Why is it that it seems that just some of the Dec/Jan groups have these hold ups??

I believe the parliament adjourns this Friday till Sept 19th. Fingers crossed that we won't need to contact our MPs by then
And I agree with you about the March people, I feel bad for feeling resentful towards them, but I just can't help it.

I am in LA, and my wife is in Toronto, and it would be much easier to be together. She just told me she can't hold on much longer emotionally without me. In some ways, I think this made me realize how much she is my family now. My lease is up July 21st, and I am going to move regardless. I hope that I can cross the border with my things for a permanent move.
She called her MP, and they told her my file was in security check, and would probably be there until September. For us to call back in September if it isn't done by then.
I think that their is a system issue that needs to be addressed. But as I said earlier, what happened to us is that we started in process later, and our security check is being held up which takes 3-5 months minimum. So they are in between two systems....
