Sorry I didn't reply earlier Ive been away!

Thanks Pinklady, Quakingaspen and Whitehorsejk for your congratulations, and yes my girlfriend is very relieved!!

I ended up sending my passport by post unfortunatley. Sod's law is that I was in london the week before I got my PPR visiting a friend and I couldnt justify another trip down there to drop it off!!

I am planning on being landed by the end of May!!

Congratulations to everyone who has had the good news! and good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

Congrats to all those who recently got their PPRs! So exciting!

I'm just quickly letting you know that I landed in Canada today. I went to Buffalo and picked up my visa then headed to the border. I can finally say that I'm done with this process. I never thought I'd see the day! I am so exhausted, but in a good way. Good luck to all of those still waiting and thank you for all the support. I'll be sending good vibes your way. I hope you won't have to wait too long.

@Romain - the same thing just happened to me They sent me to Detroit. The email told me I can't contact them for status updates for 90 days from the date of the email. Boo, frustrated and worried now

so we just received an email from CIC saying that our file has been transferred from buffalo to LA. Hopefully this means much faster movement from here on out....keeping my fingers crossed!!!

We are very happy for everyone who has news, whether PPR, or landed or even compared with us ...some news, any news to even acknowledge a change in process. We filed in December, it's now 20 April and no PPR yet, think we should be taking bets on how long it will be before we get some news. ???

It's totally deflating isn't it, although we know not to follow the timelines of others it's only natural to use them as a comparison.

Yes, yes it is...extremely happy for those that have their stuff moving but it's hard to sit here not knowing what the heck is up.

For what it's worth, I've started a new thread asking for input from others who have been transferred... Hopefully it will get some answers to questions I've seen posted here!
