I am still waiting for my AOR guys...

I am thinking of sending the case specific inquiry to them....I hope they haven't lost of file or have the wrong email address

Send them one! You have waited long enough, much longer than you should have.

I'm thinking of sending them one, too. I mailed my passport to Fort Erie last Tuesday through Xpress Post, and the tracker still doesn't say it's been delivered. I'm starting to worry. :-\ My eCAS updated to "Decision Made" this morning.

Where are the IA's and the "In Process" updates? Tuesdays have been good news days from Buffalo for a few weeks... I guess they've decided to mix things up again!

Well I just poked Buffalo ! LOL

Sent them a case specific inquiry...from my husband (Principal Aplicant's) email address. !

I just hope this doesn't cause a delay...but I couldn't wait anymore

hehe Sometimes I wish these forums had a "like" button, like they do on Facebook.

I think it will be okay, Sparkle! If you aren't "In Process" then even if they pull your file out of the queue to send your AOR, then it shouldn't be any further behind than it is now.

Maybe it's the "poke" they need to get your file where it should be! And, now they will have your husband's correct e-mail address. I was horrified to read about the woman in the Buffalo thread who found out the had the wrong e-mail address... and they sent the PPR to that address. What if you didn't find it in time? :-X Buffalo should be more careful!

By the way they said that official letter was mailed to me today.

I think some fresh air and a walk might be a good thing, watching for emails isn't healthy lol Even started jumping up every time an update sound is heard ggggrrrrrr

Oh I will make nice dinner tonight and will celebrate this way. I would love to open our most expensive bottle of champagne but since I'm pregnant it would go to waste. The real celebration will be if I get OHIP before baby comes, that is my biggest concern. That's why I wanted to receive the oficial letter from embassy saying that Im approved for PR. With such letter and few additional documents I can apply for OHIP. So tomorrow I will go to OHIP and will see if they accept printout from the email. My next step is to mail passport to embassy and it depends how fast they will mail it back to me, will land as soon as visa is in my hands

I got some news today.... Our files were sent to New York !!! :'(

We spend 2 months waiting for a F*** AOR from Buffalo, then another 1 month hoping to get some sort of IA or PPR (lets not dream too fast !).
Instead we are back to square 2 ! Another 2 months to get an AOR from NY ?

To make things more confusing even though the email said our file number will remain the same (we had a 'F' number) they show a 'B' file number that actually also works on eCas !!! Problem is i requested our CAIPS notes with the 'F' number....

Finally we had sent 2 police certificate separately (after sponsorship approval) and i can bet those will never make it to NY !
Only good news: As a sign of trust i had already re-applied for those certificates betting on the worse case scenario...

Very frustrating, looks like we are looking at a never ending story here....

They're sending applications out to the satelite offices? Hmm... That actually might speed things up considerably. We've known that they're backlogged and painfully slow. When they get too far behind, they start shipping out the applications to get them through faster.

The good news is that it is unlikely the New York office will have a backlog, so they will probably look at your application very quickly.

I hope they forward your police certificates in... but good thinking on getting more!

How about medical records.... may also need to fax Ottawa to ask them to resubmit to NewYork ?

It probably wouldn't hurt. I would assume that if Buffalo is doing their job they will forward those as well. Or, if New York is doing their job, they will request them when your file gets there.

But, if we've learned anything at all from the Immigration process, it's that you cannot rely on CIC to do their job. Best to CYA and anticipate their mistakes, if at all possible.

I really hope that they send out more files to the satelite offices. I think it'll speed things up greatly!
