Hopefully this week! My wife got hers on a Thursday or Friday (I forget which) so at least they send them all week!

yes, my AOR was by email. :)

I wouldn't worry yet, Jeff. For whatever reason, we've had a big gap in communication with Buffalo (I blame table tennis in the break room, but whatever ;) ). We've had a stop in people moving to "In Process" for some reason, and a lack of IA's coming through. Everyone's pretty much in the same boat.

But, we've had good news come through today, so I hope that means they've finally put on their working boots.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a lot of good news this week!

Yay for packing! I need to work on my Goods/Goods to Follow lists so I can land as soon as my passport gets back. :)

I hope you'll be soon, Kaz!

Hi everyone! I've been reading the thread for the past few days, and I thought I'd finally join in. Here's my timeline so far:

App Received in Miss: Dec 19, 2010
Spon. Approved: Jan. 24, 2011
AOR Received: Apr. 11, 2011

I'm hoping it will only be a couple more months! I'm already in Canada "visiting", but it would be nice to go home and visit without worrying about getting denied back into Canada. It would also be nice to start working. It looks like many of the Decembers are already getting PPRs, so hopefully it's not too long for the rest of us...

Hi Moonpie! Welcome to the December thread. :) Are you going through the Buffalo office?

I know what you mean on both accounts! I'm planning to go visit my family in the States in June, and I was really hoping to have all of this taken care of by then... And I've been here "visiting" for almost two years now, so it's going to be great to get a job and start helping with some income. :) Here's to hoping for fast processing for everyone!

Thanks quakingaspen! Yes, I am going through the Buffalo office. It's nice to see everyone else's timelines... it def. gives you a better idea of what to expect and when.

I'm also going to visit in June and hoping to have everything done!

So I am back in Canada and want to share my experience with immigration for those who come to canada as a visitor while PR-outland is in process. So while wating in line at the customs I was thinking of answers to their regular questions, I was worried that they might notice my belly (I am 5month pregnant) and will give me hard time. But luckily for me, everything was shorter than ever. Only few questions: where am I coming from?; who am I visiting?; is my home lithuania? I gave him true short answers and he let me through. I was so relieved that he didn't send me to immigration room. He didn't ask to show my ticket back to LT or prove that I won't stay here longer than I should. Don't know if he even knew about my PR application. Anyway just wanted to share good news and to wish everyone smooth and fast enter to canada.

Bad news is that my VO is soooooo quiet, that reading about Buffalo VO I really get jealous to applicants there :)

So I am in Vietnam now for the past 1 week now and Love seeing my son but there is still that unfamiliar feeling of being a father. He has a high fever now at 5 months and red bumps all over his body. Nothing new on my end other then that. I love being with my family though but worried for my son's sickness. I'll keep you guys posted.

Hey everyone,

My husband's passport arrived today in the mail. So now it is up to us to get our butts in gear and start sorting out our lives so that we can move to Canada later this year! My husband will be going to Canada sometime late summer to 'land', hopefully go to some job interviews and find us a place to live. Then he'll come back to the uk so we can wrap things up here. We are aiming to move to Canada by the end of november. Though if he gets a job and has to start sooner then I guess he'll go over before then.

It is so exciting to know that we are really going to do this...and that we will be having Christmas in Canada.

Thanks for sharing this journey with us and I'll keep you up to date on our plans. I'll still be lurking on here to see how everyone is doing and how their applications are progressing. :)

Got another fake ecas update this morning
This time it is 'application received on January 19th' while the first fake update was a copy of the sponsorship approval
Still... No In Process yet...

Congatulations!!! Great news!
